Is this the BEST route to Goa? | Pune to Goa Road Trip in Tata Punch | via Amboli Ghat | Ep 1

We are finally traveling to Goa in Tata Punch. We took the route from Pune to Satara to Kolhapur to Nipani via Amboli and finally reached Goa. The trip to Goa was very pleasant and the weather was awesome.
On the way, we stopped at Vithal Kamat for tea and did our lunch at Amboli ghat with some yummy Vada Pav.
We reached Calangute beach at 4 PM where we will stay for the next 2 days. Overall the journey from Pune to Goa took around 9 hours including breakfast and lunch.

How is your Punch performing in ghat Sections? Do you face power loss (while driving with the AC on) on the Ghat Sections?

There will be some lag being 3 cylinder and engine. But if u know the correct biting point of clutch and press accelerator at exact time it should work fine.

Me too. It was a masterpiece. The most powerful safari storme till date is the GS800 safari which Indian army uses and it’s absolute beast.

I am returning tomorrow morning from goa I will use the same road you followed. While coming I came via Belgav however road after Belgaon is very bad for 30 Km due to work going on..

Before it was Amboli. But as per my friend who went to Goa recently the Amboli road is in bad condition. So now probably Chorla. Agr koi recently gya hai to they can comment

Mileage to mene calculate nhi kia. But mene wakad se pura tank full karwa lia tha and after reaching Goa i had 1 bar left. To around 28 litre petrol laga hoga (approx). Toll around 450 rs laga tha. All the tolls will be mostly Maharashtra roads.

@@Perry_05 yes. From Pune to Goa. I’m roughly telling 28 liters. Should be somewhere between 26-27 litres. So on avg around 16-17 kmpl mileage
