Is this the best Smart Home Hub? Brilliant Smart Switch Review

I've been using the Brilliant Smart Switch for 3 years now in my home and I'm still loving it. So much so that even my brother now has one in his home too. The device is great way to connect a multitude of smart home products, from Phillips hue bulbs, to lutron casetas, and so much more. It's a security camera when you're away, and a fun way to play music to your whole home audio system when home (cue the country music on blast).

It’s HomeKit compatible in that you can add the switches on the Brilliant Hub into HomeKit

NO!!! Emphatically, NO!!! This company is actively seeking a buyer which says a LOT about the company. They can't run their own business. I'm on my second control panel and support has been terrible IF they even respond! Over $400 for a "smart" device that doesn't work is NOT acceptable. Both panels are completely dead which means all the "smartness" is gone and they're $400 paper weights at best. Perhaps they were better years ago but NOT anymore. I've had mine since last year. TERRIBLE!!

This switch is terrible. Slow and doesnt work well with ring or not at all with control 4. I super dissapointed with the price and how it works. I dont use apple stuff so maybe thats why. I have a mesh wifi and its right next to the router and it still disconnects even though all of my other devices stay connected. I can stream all my ring videos to any device the only one that has issues is this super expensive switch. Def not worth it.

I definitely think the Apple homekit integration with those products makes a big difference, at least in my experience! However, I dont have any ring devices so I can't speak to that yet!
