I liked the music. It's close enough for me. What I really enjoyed the most about this game was how immersed I was. I really felt like I was apart of an authentic Star Trek story. For the next game, I'd like to see a little more optional/non-linear questing and exploring. Nothing like Mass Effect - just let me go to Ten Forward (or whatever the Resolute calls it) and visit places like Engineering and what not. I'm easy to please. A place like Ten Forward could be a nice way to gauge the crew's reactions from act to act, assuming the story doesn't have you in a different location.

Great review. I am enjoying this game immensely and it has topped my favorite ST game of all time - A Final Unity. Did anyone else get Star Trek Voyager vibes for the intro to the game when Rydek was on the shuttle? I loved that intro. Great game overall

Wasn’t a Star Trek fan before playing the game, now I appreciate the lore and complexity of the universe, had a blast playing it, one of the best narrative story driven games I’ve played, I hope it gets a sequel or prequel into the previous first officer that died before the game.

I really enjoyed playing this Star Trek game. Its storyline was engaging and interactive, and I found it to be better than any of the Kurtzman-Goldsman-produced shows. The music didn't bother me, as I'm accustomed to slight variations in Trek music from ToS to Enterprise. I hope to see this crew again in future games. Though I understand that a Mass Effect-level interactivity could be costly and buggie to produce, I would love to play a trilogy based on Star Trek Resurgence as a devoted Trekkie.

I finished the game today and I loved it! I highly recommend using the framerate/resolution mod which will push the game over 30fps (for me 75 with a 75hz monitor); makes the game much better! As for the review, I can only agree with you, the music was sometimes off, but the story and characters were amazing. Great video, keep up! :)

Your review was spot on. This is in my top-3 favorite Star Trek games of all time with Starfleet Academy & a Stellaris Star Trek mod. I can't get into most Star Trek games because it seems like the point of those games is to fight when I want to be able to try to find a peaceful resolution. One thing I loved about Resurgence is the thing I wanted to do was always presented as an option. I really hope we get a sequel with the same characters and our choices can carry over.

I really enjoyed the game. Two things that bugged me was first, no dedication plaque on the bridge. I know not all ships had them but would have been a nice touch. The second thing the really bugged me was how every character raised one eyebrow during animations. I still have Elite Force and really liked the add on you could buy and just walk around the Voyager.

I only watched this game and I DO LOVE IT ... but IMO STO is neck in neck with this for being the best star trek game (both have a cool story)

I just finished last night. I want more! In a good way, I felt stressed having to make tough decisions. One Kobayashi Maru after another. It's one thing to watch, another thing to step into the shoes of character and decide between impossible choices. I would love to see a storyline continue with these same characters. I am most curious about how Carter's storyline might continue, with classic internal identify struggles Star Trek stories is known for. And since his best friend is Trill with complicated feelings in regard her sister, that parallel with Carter becoming like family, then reliving what she went through with her sister was striking. I'd love to see how she might in a story reach out to both in a sequel.

I really must agree with your overall estimation of this game. Is it the best video game with the Star Trek label? No, probably not. But is it the best Star Trek game? Oh my, absolutely yes. Most Star Trek games tend to focus too much on combat, which, while make up the more exciting parts of Star Trek, don't really convey the whole Star Trek _experience._ Previous Star Trek adventure games from the 90s such as Star Trek: 25th Anniversary or Star Trek TNG: A Final Unity came closest to replicating that experience until this odd gem came along. As a longtime fan, I can't recommend this enough
