Join me on my relaxing weekend day out to Newtown. I've been wanting to try this butcher steakhouse for a while and I finally got round to it recently. I really enjoyed the selection, the quality and the service was excellent.

Lotta good choices in Newtown, but these are mine right now: Bella Brutta for pizza, Westwood is awesome too Pastizzi Cafe for pasta and pastizzi Rising Sun for ramen

Actually Magpies are gentle and quite adorable. There’s another specie of birds called Black Bird in Australia that looks almost the same as Magpies except for the beaks(black birds have black beaks). They can be aggressive! My brothers was once attacked…

Interesting - I've only just started watching your content. Self and best mates (a buncha old boys) eat out regularly. We're avid carnivores and this place could be our next adventure. You infer: 'the butcher cooks the chosen meat ...' and the dishes that hit your table look prepared to order. However, does the place have actual chefs? I know nowadays the term "chef" is fluid, and technically a properly trained chef can come close skill-wise to a master butcher, but I ask because I'd like to know if the other non-steak sides/dishes are prepared by chefs.

So you walked back to where you started lol Don't really like that steak place. It feels too big. Had a burger there it was average. So many good places to eat at in Newtown, Enmore and Marrickville.
