Good advice regarding wearing glasses. I was chasing out my house a few years ago using my buddies chaser with just two blades, for whatever reason (most likely inexperience) at one point I moved back down the chase with the tool still running. Full shot of dust to the eyeball!! Luckily was totally fine and washed it all out but wasn’t nice!! That metabo looks pretty good though!!

I started my own wall chasing and coreing business back in 2005 in Ireland where the block is stony and hard as f**k, did it for 3 years until the crash in 08 and made great money but the toll it takes on the body ie shoulder joints neck and back I still feel today. Young man's game for sure. I had Milwaukee chasers and Hoover which were light and took some abuse.

It looks a great product for first fixing.

Someone mentioned in a comment somewhere else that if you get the width right and put a slight kink in the line you're cutting, it will let you put some oval conduit in and the kink would keep the conduit in place. Just wondered if it would work with capping as well without much in the way of messing about with nailing in.

Which Festool vac do you use? I have the CTL midi and out of principle it is only used for the saw and to vac the house.... :) The one thing I hate about the hose is that it's too rigid and is a pain in the bum for twisting round on itself. As you mentioned in a previous video though I would like to see somewhere on the Metabo vac to store the hose.......

Festool won’t have a chance! and it doesn’t go deep enough, it’s not really designed for rough chasing, more precision slitting or cutting of large tiles when you use it with the rail. I’ve got the the Hilti, though they’ve just brought out a new version 😂

Been using the Bosch one for about 15 years, not perfect, but I prefer it's design to others I have tried. Very funny plumbers chasing pipes in the wall, if someone asked a plumber to chase a pipe in, they would use one of their mythical regulations to say why it can't be done🤣🤣

Anyone have any trouble with pushing this yoke up the wall? Instead of normal way of letting it drop down

Those blades seems crazy expensive. Is it around 200 euros where you live?

We have the Makita and the new Dewalt flex volt, the Dewalt is awful, may as well not have the extractor connected.

In short yes it is. No other of the big manufacturers have released such a combinatoon of bang on chaser and dust extractir for uk trades. Triple blades really is the bees knees on the Metabo. Well done for filming and showing people the quality this combo can do. Expensive but this should be in the arsenal and working for 10 years. Thumbs up.
