Nice overall design! I enjoyed spending time with my own "expert" (aka Dad) and created many memories doing projects like this. We created workbenches, shelving units, and many more projects in the workshop. I lost my Dad in Dec. 2020, but have these memories that I'll treasure for ever. Enjoy EVERY minute that you can with the ones you love!

I am just getting into woodworking. I am planning on building a bench and I tend to overthink what all would I need without going overboard. This looks like a very good all around design. Cannot wait for the plans.

Nice build. I am thinking that your dust collector might work better if there was some way to minimize the space of the collecion area. I have a dust collector connected to my shop vac as well, and I notice that the suction is reduced...if the area you are vacuuming were reduced as well, maybe it would collect more...IDK..just thinking outloud. 🙂

You must be "one of them"? LOL, you only need 5 clamps? You have the space underneath, maybe just have them slide out the end so you can get them. I think the sanding table needs, more holes, a 4" DC and put a simple removable rail/fence around the perimeter when you are sanding it will help direct the dust below. Workbenches can always be a work in progress as you find things you need or things you can do differently. For me the lower areas tend to get dust down there, so I enclosed a lot of it with drawers. Thanks for the video, and I look forward to future progress and updates.

Thanks, I think; I'm not sure what "one of them" means... I haven't appreciated the use of clamps until recently. I like the idea of having a system to slide them in from the end. Thanks for the feedback!
