Honestly, creating Merch is certainly a really long process (Contacting the people that are going to make the product, submitting the design to these people, changing it a little from time to time, having meetings about it, discussing about the price, etc...). So I think it's normal for the Devs to already have 90% of the Product finalized before the Official Trailers and Game Release.

Mob entertainment already dealt with drama related to issues like taking advantage of quick sell merch and NFTs and even some work places issues, so this is not entirely a surprise. But what is a surprise is the idea that things have gotten so bad that PPT might either get changed from this point onward or even cancelled when it’s doing so well all because of some bad CEOs messing everything up for everyone else.

What if it's all a lie? Something thought up by MOB to distract us from what they're REALLY planning for PP4. By everyone thinking that important employees are leaving, and that there's toxicity in the workplace etc etc, it would make us think that chapter 4 would be canceled, or if it did come out, would look and play terrible. I bet it's a ruse, and when chapter 4 comes out it's going to blow us away! Hopefully we'll even be better than chapter 3, which was amazing!

considering what he have done in the past (Zach Belanger) which is have a minecraft animator bullied into either doing their biding or for trying to leave and pursuit his love for creating having this poor creator end up in a mental hospital or asylum (probably hospital) and much more, this isn't really much of a surprise which is funny because in the discord interview Zach had with a youtuber he said he changed and matured and regrets what he had done, clearly nothing has really changed.

I cant agree with neither tbh, many companies make games and movies to advertise the merchandise anyway. So, it wasn't that difficult to tell, every big company will usually have merchandise for their main income. As for the second thing, game development takes years and a lot of dedication from the team. You'd think it was easy? The employees literally complained for how difficult it was to code a gas mask that you use for LITERALLY a small portion of the game. And unlike chapter 2, it was more detailed, polished and.. unlike chapter 1.. the buggy mess that is was.

I’m not that important though relative to some of the other employees but I do work on some of the merch and I had a small role in the development of chapter two
