I honestly don't have any idea why in the ever loving heck they decided that bringing the slime back was a good idea. That stuff was literally hated by all parents because of the mess it made, and adding glitter to it was even worse because that stuff gets everywhere. Now personally I'm a fan of glitter, a huge fan, if I spill any in my room while crafting I just spread it around, so I have no problem with the glitter aspect, but I know there's a lot of people and parents in particular who absolutely hate it because of how messy it is. So why they've decided to bring that back makes no sense. And why they've decided to lessen the quality of the dolls and fashions makes absolutely no sense at all because that's literally what has made them so popular the last few years. All of us adult collectors spending our hard earned money on something we truly enjoyed and this is how they repay us? By giving us whatever this is? So sad to see such a awesome brand decline like this...

I agree with your disappointment. I'm so glad I'm a hoarder that has an inbox and outbox collection of rh s1-3...smh... Also, why does Amaya have such a chokehold on this series? Poppy was so beautiful...I hope I can find the fashion show doll version

The pendulum is swinging again. any time any kinda upset happens in the toy market like the current financial issues toy companies pull out the old bs of little girls stop playing with dolls by seven which of course is false but they use that as an excuse to make the products more childish and cheaper over all. Instead of just ridding through this time by making Amazing innovative dolls that got us out of the dark age left after mhs death they instead went back to slime which hot take doesn’t make any sense , annoying things like blind boxes scented toys and gimmicks come and go every few years but slime was a fad fidget spinners aren’t coming back they had their moment it ended same with slime so it’s weird they’d go back to slime like it’s a more reoccurring trend when it’s not. Sadly though the recent draw your dolls outfit thing was a clear sign this was coming rainbow high is entering its own mh g2 phase and probably won’t survive long after that it’s headed to deaths door I just hope it doesn’t drag the doll market as a whole back into another dark age with it. Hopefully monster high will keep the fashion doll market thriving. It is interesting though to watch how these patterns play out ( new dolls are amazing super detailed killing it with every release then time passes sells drop and instead of innovating again companies run scared and fall back into cheaper more childish products that leave everyone disappointed which just leads the sales to get worse till the brand completely dies only if luckily to be revived because of nostalgia years later. Or maybe I’m reading to much into it they’ll realize their mistake and go back to making high quality dolls but I don’t think that will happen because these companies never learn that is unless it’s all some grand conspiracy that this is what you do to kill off your own doll line because your done with it idk. I will say though I’m not surprised I always knew from the time rh came out that it would go back to slime from its roots when it was starting to die I think this all tells me I pay way to close attention to this stuff 😅 like seriously I don’t even collect play line dolls I collect ag and bjds but I still find the fashion doll world fascinating

Sunnys doll is a cutie...I will get one so I can rebody onto another sunny since I have extra sunnys.

This rebrand is gonna make me rage. First they get rid of Poppy, then they go for the stupid slime thing (it's always fucking slime these days WHY?), they're replacing Poppy with AMAYA of all characters (ew), and now they give us a fashion pack where Sunny is the only one with a suitable outfit. Look how they massacred my girls.

So far i haven't been into Violet but i actually love her new regular doll, the fashion pack and the jr doll. Poor Amaya she looks terrible. I'm honestly not too sad about this new direction, I'm glad the kids will get some adorable, affordable dolls and maybe once in a while there will be one that the adults love too. I was getting tired of RH dolls anyway and need a break. I would still love to see them put out a great, high quality collector/special edition doll a couple times a year tho.

End? I don't think so. Just because MGA will release in january 2024 these budget dolls for younger kids doesn't mean, that a whole brand is dead. Guys, wait for another news, You all needs a patience. You just saw a THREE upcoming side-lines, but wait for main lines. Maybe Project Rainbow models and outfits will appear, like FF dolls appear.

Like I commented on the last video (just a minute ago because I’m watching them back-to-back haha), the fashion packs are not…fashionable 🥲 I wanted fashion packs for so long but these are disappointing :( also-Amaya taking Bella’s color… 😭

I’m glad ur saying everything I’m thinking! Also Amaya has a bunch of recycled stuff! Her shoes are jades series 1 shoes, the purse is simplified version of a fashion back purse like sunnys too. Like we have a lot of these pieces. Sunny’s outfit is a cheapened version of her first series! The GLITTER ON THE FACE? Yuck. I hope will be easy to take off.

I started collocting Fashion doll's because of rainbow high series 1 and 2. I stopped at series 2 and I want the rest of them before their not available no more than I don't have any shadow high but their so cool. Monster High is were my heart is at but I still love rainbow high and I thank them for getting me into collocting Fashion doll's

One thing i think is funny with Amaya gen 2 is that she has a white part in her hair tourds the bottom

I watched the last episode and they had Poppy super into baking as a new hobby. My theory (which I totally hope and know is wrong) is that they will release her as a baking playset using slime of course since everyone else has it🙄 Poppy was my favorite original so I’m super sad about losing her. They are no longer fashion dolls in any sense of the word and have to be marketed to small children. I actually kind of like the new Amaya though😂 (I don’t own any of the others though so what do I know) and I would give her a new name because she’s totally a hybrid of like Stella, Bella, and Amaya, etc. They try so hard to make Amaya the cute popular girl but she will never sit with us 😂

Maybe they'll bring poppy back in series 2 of the newer dolls or maybe their not showing her and keeping her as a surprise release

While I'm disappointed in the changes overall, those PJ dolls are cute! And we women would have a lot less problems if our bangs grew out as quickly as Sunny's!

I feel like they've tried to fuse Bella with Amaya but no. This does NOT work. For the Slime dolls, I really do like Sunny and her PJ doll too. The fashion packs are awful though. I feel like they've tried to keep them rainbow -besides Violet and Bella- to make them fit anyone which is fine but then why put specific characters on the boxes? Ruby would never wear those pastel PJs, Skylar doesn't wear pink and Jades cheer outfit looks more like Amayas S2 outfit. I can totally see Sunny, Violet and Bella (And yes fully aware it's Amaya but clearly pink is meant to be Bella) in those particular outfits the problem is there just not exciting. Also why is the focus on Sunny, Violet and Skylar? Both the Swim and PJ lines have these 3 characters plus an additional Ruby/Bella. Like I said I'm a Sunny fan/Completist so I'll be getting the Sunnys but none of the others. I do hope we will see more lines where RH is back to top form though going from Project Runway/Fantastic Fashion - Literally their best line yet..... to this? Yeeesh! 😬

Rainbow High Gen 2 takes the cake for the worst Rebranding. Before Monster High gen 2 was the worst in fashion dolls but rainbow high took that from MHG2

First slime release was crap. And I've heard the quality is going to be worse too - i will simply not be buying RH again lol

I wanted a Poppy's Runway doll, they all disappeared. 😡 I like the purple dress and PJs, but none of the rest. Why isn't there something a but more classy, with a bit of black? These are a bit dull.
