I would consider it the MacBook Killer, 120HZ display, 16GB of ram base, oled display. You get a lot for 999, I wouldn’t want a laptop for the same price that only has 8GB of ram.

Just if you OS is crap like Windows.. (and the OS even wasring the storage to hold screenshots to make their recall crap to happen..) By the way you can simply buy any external storage (or even internal SSD, but for decrease the price you probably only will buy a crap one, with slower read/write speed like the initial one.. so not even worth to do it), you need more storage to allow the Windows to spy on you more, since more storage allow it to take more screenshots for recall 😂

This is the first fast qualcomm ARM CPU. Because 2018-2023 Windows can only run on Qualcomm ARM CPUs. Now others are also allowed. Now Qualcomm has fear of Nvidia, Mediatek AMD etc and they built a fast ARM CPU.

You need to wait a while for that, because this Oryon chip is not that good.. it's already limited, i mean even if they pump 80W into the chip instead of the 23W, it's still only gain 10% extra performance (for 250% extra power consumption, that 10% more performance is nothing). Also they need almost the same amount of power cores (12 power cores) to rival the basic M chip (just 4 power cores) what the M1 Ultra had (16 power cores, which is much closer to the 12 like the 4..), so do you think they will bring you a 24 or even 48 power cores to rival the M Max and M Ultra?

The newer ones are rubbish.. had tseries t460p - t480 with solid battery and all had dozens of problems with burnin displays, flexibility in the case, t460p had also mainboard replacement, keyboard and around 4 times the display exchange because of burn in.. while using it under 100% brightness for a workday.. yeahh since that i don’t use lenovo.. macbook pro 2019 no problem so far, even everyone complained.. runs even now and everyday work use..

That being said there is no apple to apple (pun intended) comparison here. Comparing ONLY multi core speed on chip with 10 p-cores with one that got 4-p and 4 e-cores is miss leading at best. Especially considering the fact that single core performance is whats most important in most cases. Comparing a 4k£ with a 2k£ is not fair either.

The CPU is good but its overall slower as the M3. Maybe its as good as the M1. But the cheapest Surface 300€ more expensive as an Macbook M3 in Germany and you need a lot of luck to get one. The Price tag should be 700€. Yes the Snapdragon X Elite is 58% faster as the M3 but it tooks 80W and the M3 tooks 14W. This means under heavy load the Surface battery lasts 40 minutes and the M3 Air about 3 1/2 hours. But the X Elite at 20W seems to shine.

There's no such thing as a Macbook Killer. Sometimes PC's will have better specs and sometimes Macbooks will have better specs. With technology, it's just timing. Guaranteed that the M4 Macbook Air will completely curb stomp the Surface. And then the next Surface iteration will curb stomp the M4.

Battery issue. I don't believe Microsoft. My surface pro 8 only lasts 3 hours on email and documents making, even it's claimed to be 8 hours. Woah.

@@matteoplays i searched on the apple website and asked on forums. simply, for some issues there is no solution. for example, the INSERT key could be "emulated" by a key combination on many software, but there are software that are simply not compatible.
