There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a janitor, or any similar 'low' job, which does not denote intelligence or capability - just what you work at. To this day, the smartest American I've ever met remains an elderly Sikh cabbie - 'just' a taxi driver - who over the course of a lengthy cross-Manhattan drive, forensically discussed economic challenges facing the Eurozone, as well as accurately discussing fiscal challenges faced by my home country, the Republic of Ireland. I'd never refer to anyone's job as an indicator of their range or limits.
