For over two years, on this channel, i've been recommending FIFA career mode save ideas. I’ve posted a few series of my own, including Forest, Braga and West Ham ones, but today, we’re turning the tables. I'll be looking at another five of your career modes, and i’ll be rating them based on how good I think they are!

In the F1 games (also produced by EA) they have the ability to start your career midway through the season with replicated real life results. So not totally unrealistic to hopefully see it added to EA FC 24.

A fun save I do when I’m bored is a sim career mode but you need to win the sudamericana and libertadores and then realistically you’d attract European football and then win the conference, europa league and champions league. To keep it real I’d try to move and get to bigger clubs as you go on. Not forgetting some of the legends you’ve created along the way buying them to be part of your plans. Using the same formations like most managers do.

Ive really enjoyed doing a only bald team. You can also get bald academy players if ur lucky and its quite funny cause you have a 15 year old player that looks 40 just chilling in your academy

The funniest challenge that I’ve done so far is a save where I have put all the real face players in League 2 on the same team. Rules: you can only sign real face players (so no academy) and you can’t sign free agents.

this rules keep the safe very realistic and you develop a special conection with all the players. Callum Morton for exemple grow up to an 86, and I had him and three other players from the start (Schofield, Watt and Marc Leonard) in the starting eleven in the premier league.

I am currently doing a Spurs save. I haven't made the same signings as IRL Spurs, and my signings are a bit unrealistic when compared to what Levy usually allows. The story in my head is that Levy had a horrific car crash, and in his near death experience he realized his biggest regret was building Spurs up so much but never crossing the finish line. This season would be different. He opened the war chests and spent big. It's paid off because I've won the domestic treble, and all I have left is the CL final against Juventus. I very well could win the quadruple. I also met all my board objectives, including signing 3 North Americans (and two have gotten regular game time!). I signed Weston McKennie, Alphonso Davies, and Cade Cowell. Cade just couldn't break into the team, so he's on loan right now.

Super stuff. I’m St. Mark’s as a rival club to Man Citeh’s oil money. Frank Lampard is manager with M12 (original postcode) as my trigraph. Original black & white kit with Cambridge blue away. Walk out music is Blue Moon so I still get the City chants, ‘we’re not really here’ etc as would happen irl at Hyde Road. Can only sign any players linked to City so have few of their young guns but Jack Rodwell is my skipper for instance. Am scouting for old school players, eg: Welsh wingers like Meredith etc.

I’m doing a career with Tromso IL in the Norwegian league and the rules are I can use 1 star scouts because of where Tromso is located (northern most team in fifa and an 8 hour drive away from the nearest team in the league) would make it difficult to attract youth players and I also can’t spend more money on a transfer than their top transfer ever of 1.5 million and my goal is to win a Norwegian league title for the first time in their history and make it the champions league which they’ve never done before I just started but I think it’ll end up being really cool and challenging

I'm doing a bournemouth save currently and I have given myself a bargain buying rule that I can only sign players who have 12 months left on their contract, so I can either buy players at the start of the summer transfer window and get them cheaper than their actual value or free on a pre contract in the winter transfer window. I'm only on my 1st season so far and i bought in Houssem Aouar for 9.5 million, Wilfred Singo for 9 million and Moussa Dembele for 13 million before the summer transfer window shut. I'm now in February but managed to get Hector Bellerin and Mahmoud Dahoud on pre contracts in January.

Currently im doing a save with Marseille, where i try to recreate Mourinho's Champions League win with players Over 30 years. The only rule is to only use players above or with 30 years

Do you guys use develoment plans in career mode? I think it boost to much the player’s ratings and it makes the game more unrealistic because you have a team full of 90 rated players

I've got a bone to pick with Bilbao safe... One of their LBs, Manu Sanchez, isn't basque! Yes, he plays at Osasuna but he was born in Madrid and came through Atleticos academy. He is also only on loan from Atletico at Osasuna. I'm not sure whether his parents might be basque, but if they aren't then this is a massive dent in that safe. It's also infuriating because Bilbao have a young LB with potential in Imanol, who is on loan at Huesca, I believe.

If that Davies guy in the academy from the Bilbao save is American, it actually could be realistic as USA has the third highest population of people of Basque descent…possible for an American Davies with basque ties to get an invite to play in Bilbao youth academy…

I'm doing a save right now with Dortmund's 2nd team. My goal is to bring them into the 2nd division after selling all of their old players and replacing them with youth academy prospects. Then hopefully I get a job offer with the 1st team to simulate being promoted. And if I don't get an offer from them then I'll go full revenge mode and ruin the realism by getting promoted to the 1st league and beating the 1st team.

My save is a strange one I created my club took them from league 2 to the Premier league got sacked managed Bournemouth got them to the UCL but got eliminated in the round of 16 in the UEL sacked then returned to my created club just stayed in the premier league sacked then got Southampton back up to the prem.

Just wanted to say thanks you for the content and the stellar ideas. I recently did a save file with Vancouver Whitecaps (worst canadian team and only one with a real stadium) file and rebuilt them and the Canadian national team. So far been really fun, league has been pretty tightly contested and the world cup is coming up soon for Canada. Grew quite a few young guys but I did the realistic thing and sold them off to world class european teams. Really enjoying it and the idea of doing a MLS and country rebuild save would have never come to my mind if you never suggested it. I usually just do a rebuild for a random team in the big 5 leagues (rarely use teams outside of it) last few months I've enjoyed fifa more than I've ever done before so thank you so much. I had a question on how do you farm club team offers? Not the ones you apply for but the ones that actually send you an email to manage them. Did a awesome file where I was a journeyman manager where I started with a Australian team and went on to be the Inter manger (there were several jobs in between this lol) and would love to relieve it.

@@citeheditzz420 rough, we had a group of Argentina, germany and Norway. Only got to 3rd (would have finished last if odegaard didnt get hurt in the 2nd leg versus us) . Going to have to reload for the next WC and pray our group is easier, got a few young prospects that could possibly be big contributors for the next wc. USA got eliminated in the group stage too so right now the tally is even between us (developing usa prospects too to make this a more interesting rivalry). Been an interesting save so far, mls has actually been pretty fun the last few years, if my prospect develop I'll sell them off so that way the league doesnt get boring and we expand canadian influence across the world rather just here in the mls. Made a big long story but figured if you were interested itd be kinda cool

I will rate that Spurs career mode as interesting idea (8.0) with lot of fun (9.7) but I don't give more than 0.5 for Realism because he never promoted a youth academy player and played the entire career with the Tottenham's squad. Also Hugo Lloris to play for Tottenham Hotspur until the manager career mode's ending is more unrealistic than bringing in the Bulgarian defender Valentin Antov from Monza or Donnarumma who destroyed his career since the day he joined PSG. I agree with the rest. :)

Only Basque is the literal policy of Athletic Club. Also Rangers quite literally had a no catholics policy until 1989.
