It's the other side of Sulu province, and such a beautiful destination!
From a small port in Zamboanga, we ride a public boat to Sulu's zero crime municipality! Or so they tell me... But people here are incredibly down to earth and friendly, and majority Sama Banguingui - for whom the municipality, formerly known as Tongkil, is named.
A chain of islands stretching from Basilan to Jolo, this is really a special, peaceful place!

Kum. Daot a million thanks for visiting our remote island in Southerrn Philippines. Its truly a paradise though people are still poor yet they are happy. Im from N, Mindanao but never got a chance to visit So. Mindanao because of peace and order problem during those period. But now peace is at hand and soon progress will flow abundantly in the region. This was so incredible! It's such a wonder that people could feel more comfortable living in homes on stilts over the ocean rather than on dry land, and yet they do. Always so amazing to me. You truly seem to be in your element in these types of communities, Kumander. If only someone would make money available to restore that ancestral home to its former glory. Unfortunately, the wealth is not available in the community for them to do it themselves. Even in the condition it's in, it appears quite magnificent. Must have been the envy of all in its heyday. Amping and happy travels, KD and Nhel! 🤙

Nawa ma turuan sila ng proper solid waste management ng ma maintain ang ganda ng lugar. Hands down sa beauty ng Sulu ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Nawa sa pag bakasyon ko sa Pinas ay maka gala ako sa napakagandang lugar na yan. Taga Mindanao ako pero I never set foot in that side of the island.

If there's one foreigner vlogger I recommend to people of Mindanao TO ADOPT AS SON AND MAKE HKM AMBASSADOR VLOGGER , ITS KUMANDER DAOT!!!!! I'm from Luzon but I'm in love with Mindanao, and the more I explore the more I love it , sadly K. Daot explored and showcased more than me. I'm far behind but hopefully I can explore every provinces and villages of it in time. International tourism makes Boracay , Puerto Galera , Palawan , Bohol famous but its so chaotic now , ( my apology ) . But I put Mindanao my first , and hopefully it will be preserved from over commercialization of tourism at the expense of its natural beauty and respect of indiginous culture.❤❤❤

I leaned Freediving from the Badjaos I Love Them So Much I should marry a Badjao.❤❤ I've never seen such a long white sand beach. I mean it's longer than compared to Florida Beaches - Kumander Daot. Wicked Nice!
