However there have too many instances of historical figures using fake religion scripts, relics, items anything of huge significant religious value to people and used it for their own beliefs which had nothing to do with the original item, script, text, scroll etc etc or even Jesus at all. I mean if all you had to do was present a vine from your garden and present it to people and say this is the crown of thorns from Jesus Christ to get all the money you could ask for from a church that absolutely wants the attention and fame of possessing such an item? Remember they didn’t have this technology back then, such as DNA testing and carbon dating. it wasn’t even fathomable. There was no way to truly prove or disapprove anyones theory, as long as they had enough people in the beginning to agree with your lie, and spread it as truth, then eventually the people being told the story is going to double, with the originals telling friends, family etc. and then it snowballs from there. The story gets more and less dramatic the truth farther and farther from the story line as originally told. Back in those times people could be convinced of anything if it had enough people that other people considered trustworthy. Hell do you know who Kim Jung un is? Not sure if even spelled that right but the current North Korean leader…has trained and convinced his whole people that he is a god that doesn’t sleep or defecate. If you ever seen the interview that part of the movie was not being exaggerated. People really believe him as supreme being through his brainwashing and guess what? He restricts his country from any foreign education, news, or anything foreign for that matter, they created their own internet so as to not be able to use ours. That way the people don’t have a way to find out, nor probably even the desire or curiosity too. They are born with this belief with no way of finding out or searching for otherwise. Do you know what the penalty is for having a foreign anything in that country is? How about having your own personal cellphone? Denouncing Kim as a god? Or even disagreeing or doubting him? It’s death. All I’m saying is, propaganda is still going on today, and people will believe whatever they believe. Some have a choice too. Some don’t such as the North Koreans as mentioned. Or basically every Islamic woman who aren’t allowed an education of any sort and are considered more like property in their own religion. Yet they follow it to the death. Back then without the means of disapproving something factually through science such as DNA and carbon dating, what country do you know of wouldn’t take advantage of any believer they could by creating fake replicas and passing it off as “proof that Jesus existed” and here’s an important item of said person. Again I would like to think this real I really do, but I just need more solid evidence. And I’m not even saying I’m skeptical about Jesus I believe in him. What I question is this item, the nails of the cross, and the crown of thorns authenticity. Churches literally used to kill people who disagreed with their beliefs. And what I mean is like Christian on Christian not even the most famous of Christian vs Islam or Jews vs Islam. They dubbed them heretics, anyone who questioned the authenticity of any churches certain belief. So they are capable of murder to gain reputation. I would assume they would also “create false” idols as the Bible has warned against many times. Keep in mind the date Christianity was founded and official. And look at all the dates at which these items are supposedly found. The religion itself was way behind actual events. And the items found were way behind the religion. How the hell is something so significant if not the most significant event in human history not founded until 500 years after events? And items related to said religion found much later to bolster truth and authenticity of the religion? I’m not saying what the Bible says isn’t true, I’m not denouncing Jesus. What I’m saying is I believe certain people took advantage of such an important time, kept it under wraps for their own gain, and used it for their own greedy desires to manipulate people to join their/convert religion/tribe/country to them through a twisted version of the truth. Why does the Vatican take official scrolls/books out of the Bible such as Enoch? It was literally written as a part of the Bible…yet it was left out??? 🤔 hmm I wonder why?

@@scorpiovenator_4736 What good would DNA testing do? There is DNA all over the shroud from the thousands of people that have handled it for the last 2000 years. Which one is that of Jesus? They tried analyzing his blood but it was too old and degraded for accurate testing.

Those depictions do not come from people who witnessed Christ or even met with a person who witnessed Christ.

All we know is it's empty at the time of his resurrection. It could have been repurposed to another after. Oh my. The face cloth of Jesus was taken off of him after he was brought into the tomb. It was folded up and set aside. He was not wearing it when God resurrected him. Today that head wrapping is in Spain where it is known as the Sudarium of Oviedo. It has been there for 1400 years. I swear. Perhaps you should know that Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew that was outdoors most of his life. Either working or spreading the word. He was weathered. And when the Roman soldiers got to him he was severely beaten over two days. After that he was scourged then he was tortured until dead. How good do you think that he should look?

As a great number of us know, after Joeseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus took Jesus to the tomb they spent what little time they had before Sabbath forced them to stop cleaning his body. As the image on the Shroud _clearly shows_, he was horribly beaten, savagely scourged, had a cap of thorns smashed down on this head then he was crucified until dead. Patches of his beard were yanked out. How can anyone be dumb enough to think that this is not Jesus??

Wow. You sure do not know your Bible very well. God _never_ said anything about the length of a man's hair. When it comes to the passage from I Cor. 11:14, one must remember that it was written at least 20 years *after* the death of Jesus. Closer study will reveal that it is simply Paul's personal opinion and certainly *not* a regulation which would have applied to Jesus during his lifetime.
