Coming from California, as a black man, I don't have a whole lot of expertise when it comes to country music. We probably don't have a whole lot in common, but it doesn't take an expert to know when you're hearing good music. I just wanted to send you some encouragement because it's plain to see that you have a lot of talent. The story telling is my favorite part of country music and I really enjoy hearing your stories. Thank you, your music makes a nice soundtrack for great new memories.

Sounds like you need to get acquainted with the woods... It's not about color or background.. it's about the peace you get... Nothing quite like a beautiful night sky full of stars with the coals from a campfire you used to cook your dinner.. it's a different level of peace that everyone should know..

I found my soul out in those woods, worked through recovery on a John Deere tractor, found out who I would become through conversations with Grandpa and Grandma, found God on a lake and then a Church... And my Grandkids live on acreage. All that I am begins and ends on this land I grew up on. In rural northern Minnesota. Country ain't a State, it's a state of mind and spirit. Hell yeah, this is pure country.

HOLY SHIZZ... I almost cried cos I could SEE that easy living life. My family done moved to NC and I could imagine days like this down happening down there... This NY hustling has got me working 60 plus hour work weeks.... too tired to enjoy the blessings God is sending my way. One day, one day some, I'ma make the move down there too. Till then, talk keep dat Country Cool, that politeness we ain't got up here 😮‍💨. This brother LOVES this song and singer 🫶🏾 💪🏻💪🏾✝️🫸🏻🫷🏾

I'm a 62 y/o man and NOT ashamed to admit the song brought tears and wonderful memories from when I was young. Our time was so simple back then. We enjoyed every second of life. I really do miss them. You can't go anywhere these days without idiots showing off and causing drama. They are not smart enough to realize any second may be their last so as Kenny Chesney old song says "Don't Blink"

Grand dad has a pond on 87 country acres. My brother and my cousins would go down and find the cattle hanging out by that pond. Dad and my uncle keep that pond stocked with blue fill, rainbow, cats and bass. We would ran and jump in the bone yard where old cars and kitchen appliances went to die. All of us at one time or another lived in the old farm house down the lane from grandmas house my grandad and all his boys build in the early 70's for her. He knotted pine walls and hardwood floors brought her joy. She waxed them every year at hog killing time with pig fat left on the chine bone. My dad and uncles wives worked those floors and woods too. Christmas my cousins and dad's always found the perfect Christmas 🎄 while the ladies chatted and cooked. So much more I remember... thank you for taking time to read this, I miss those days and i still miss old Bo, he was a great 🐕 .

Love ❤️ it! I appreciate that you can visualize the story he’s telling. And the music didn’t take away from his storytelling. I hope he gets noticed by the music industry and we can get more of his music. And maybe he holds off on getting anymore tattoos, at least not anymore on his face and neck? But that’s just my personal preference.😄❤️😊

That's real country music. Thats what life is really like when you grow up like that. Truth I lived it. 😊and guess what? I'm a brown person. Black or white. If you grew up like that. Then you'll feel this song. It will take you back.❤ miss those days they were the best. HOW Do we get back to those days🤔

Sad we don’t get to go back! People that was raised country are considered hillbillies, back woods are slow and told we don’t have a place in this world. Personally I don’t care what other people think! I raised my boys on horseback with a shot gun in one hand and rod n reel in the other, I taught them to open doors for others, yes ma’am and no sir, be on time and ask no one for nothing, work hard and pay your bills. lol But like I said we’re back woods and slow hillbillies!

@@Tomc8030All I will say about your comment is that as you get older time tells you that it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference what anyone else’s opinion is of you and how you look, etc. If the person expressing their opinion matters to you then it might make a dent, but if it’s they’re a stranger to you or someone whose opinion you couldn’t care less about than screw them, and head on down the road!!

Nice to see a country song that is old school, no drinking and a message. Just a boy and his granddad and life lessons. Man even at 65 I sure miss those days. My granddad was taken when I was 13 but he taught me so much about life in that short time . Great song!
