Our Family of Five Exploring in a Jeep Gladiator

Join me on a ride with my family of five in our new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon! In this video, we'll go over checking the fluids after driving 2000 miles and why the Jeep Gladiator is the perfect ride for families of five. We had an awesome visit to Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Missouri for the first time. We love it, and look forward to completing many more adventures!

Nice trip and thanks for sharing. I use Weather Tech mud flaps to keep the dirt off my Jeep Wrangler. I just ordered some for my new Gladiator. They work really good at keeping the dirt off the doors.

Awesome adventure, thanks for bringing us along! I'm getting close to 2000 miles on my wrangler. Probably time to check fluid levels and such too. I've not had any issues so far, been a great ride.

So, I realized while filming that there is no transmission fluid dipstick. So, it’s going to be a fun project when I eventually change it.

@@OffGridAdventure I watched a video of someone changing the manual transmission fluid (I have the 6-spd) in a 2023 model. It looks very easy. I've never done diff fluid changes or transmission/transfer case fluid changes, but the JL looks really easy to do. Good for saving some $$$.

Nice you will be having many trips out with the fam. For personal reasons I like the van videos as I'm starting to fit out a van, but can watch your Sienna ones again. Best....

Hi, thanks for stopping in. This is a big change in direction for the channel, but a lot has changed over the last few years. I plan to start camping again soon with this Jeep, but need to get a roof top tent for it. Good luck with your van build. Sienna?

This one was $46 plus tax. Year end specials and negotiation helped a lot.

I do an oil change at 1k miles to flush out all the “break in” stuff…

That’s a good idea. I’ve heard the first oil has special break in treatments, but don’t have any specific proof to back up those claims.

@@OffGridAdventure there are some very good KZfaqrs that have done early oil changes and had the oil tested. there were a lot of contaminants so it’s good to get the first change done early
