The hulk is technically a brand new coaster. They retracked the entire ride. In fact the piece of track Hulk is holding over the queue line entrance is from the original build. IoA is a fantastic park.

Best theme park in America for sure. They have the best themed thrill ride, and the best family ride on earth, plus tons of other insanely good stuff on top of that.

Just so you know, there is no elevator on Spiderman. That effect is created by the rooftops physically moving down around you.

By far my favorite theme park ive been to. Got to finally revisit in 2022 after 9 years and it was all worth it. I missed a lot of notable rides, but VelociCoaster made everything worth it, such an unbelievable work of art especially at night.

Thanks for your video. You let your own emotions flood in you like a real passionate man and we really appreciate your for this. You made me feel very nostalgic about my last trip to IOA. I'm french and i had the chance to go to this park in summer 1999 when it was still in soft-opening. I was a young teenager and had such good memories about it (Dueling Dragons, Hulk, Spiderman,...) so i was so excited to come back last month after 25 years. In the end, i was not disappointed at all and a new kind of "magic" grew on me. I made 15+ rides on VelociCoaster. The experience was just out of this world (front row, 11th row and last row were so epic especially at night). I still don't know if i put this one at #1 spot in my rankings or if i prefer Iron Gwazi's craziness ! It's definitely one of the best theme park in the world. It's just so well-rounded in terms of thrill seeking, dark rides, water rides,...you can't get better than that ! (Epic Universe waiting room...) For now, Phantasialand is the only name that comes to my mind in this debate. The perfect balance in terms of immersion/thrill seeking. They've created such a masterpiece of a park with their own imagination (Beautiful lands, IMAscore at his best, epic rides,...). If they are able to put another epic coaster here, build a real good dark ride, it'll take the 1# spot in my mind. I'm leaving tomorrow for 3 days at Wintertraum's event and i hope you'll have a chance to live this experience one day. It just hits different than regular times (which is already epic !) It's by far one of the best experience any theme park's enthusiast can live in his life. It's so photogenic with all those lights. I have no words to describe how good it is. I know that you got pretty disappointed by Taron but believe me (i'm never jokin' with Intamin 😎), it's a real monster in those late night rides. The beast comes alive and you don't even understand what's going on (ejector airtimes and the sense of speed feel way more powerful than usual). Glad you enjoy your trip at Islands of Adventure. When Epic Universe will open, we'll have no other choice but to spend one full week at Universal. We'll lose all our money but who cares ? It'll be so worth it 😉

I’m glad Sam enjoyed herself here after so many years! Truly an amazing park and has something for everyone if you’re part of different or multiple fandoms. Still remember my first time here and was absolutely blown away by all of the Harry Potter attractions having binged all 7 movies with my sister before leading up to our visit. Hagrid’s definitely was worthy of replacing Dragon Challenge and hope to experience that and VelociCoaster sometime in the future🤞🏻Hagrid himself still says, “Yer a wizard” for managing to get the front row by chance so many times⚡️

I love islands. 3 wonderful coasters, top tier dark rides, great operations, theming is second to none.

I´ve been to this park once in 2015 and I loved it, but now it is so much better compared to back then with rides like Kong, Hagrids and Velocicoaster.

When you ride Guardians Of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind later this year, it will be in your top 5 Florida coaster rides! 👌👍

Little fun fact when you rode Spider-Man, You said you went up an elevator. You actually remain on the ground floor. It is achieved by a practical effect where the wall lowers down in front of you giving the illusion that you're lifting up

My favorite park on the east coast. Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s hit so well on theming and quality

You mention an elevator a few times on Spider-Man but there isn’t one. The entire ride takes place on one level. The sensation of going up and the fall is simply achieved through optical illusions with the scenery and visual on the screens.

I personally rank a few parks above this with Disneyland in Anaheim still being my overall number one because the theming is top tier and they have the best dark ride collection on earth. That speaks to my personal preference. But I wouldn't blame anyone for saying Islands of Adventure is the best park on earth. It really is one of the most well balanced theme parks in the world with some unbelievable rides and attractions and phenomenal immersion. I'd say the only US parks that rival Islands of Adventure are Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Disneyland and EPCOT (back when it was EPCOT Center with Horizons and World of Motion.) Side note, yes I love places like Cedar Point, Hersheypark and Kings Island and Magic Mountain but I personally prefer parks that have more theming, more interesting queue lines and are able to be enjoyed by everyone in the family.

Can't wait to finally travel to orlando from Belgium in october! Childhood dream to go to island of adventure

You’re the man dude.

Hagrids is my favorite ride ever, I only rode Velocicoaster at early entry and I always feel disappointed, need to ride it at night to fully appreciate it, but those long wait times are brutal. The other rides I always have to get on is Escape from Gringotts, and Return of the Mummy.

Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure is the best Themed coaster in the 🌍, best family coaster in the 🌍, and arguably the best night ride in the 🌍 . Bravo J K Bravo 👏🏽

Hagrids line from my experience (we rode it 7 times) has a wayyy overstated line. 2 hours = 45 mins in reality

I went to islands of adventure this week and it was a blast! Velocicoaster took maverick’s spot as my favorite roller coaster and in my opinion Incredible Hulk is better than millennium force!

I went here in 2019 and is one of my favourite parks. Hagrid's was a bit disappointing because B&M inverts are my favourite ride model, but I love the Hulk and forbidden journey

@ 5:40 there isnt a elevator in spiderman's ride building however there are 4 elevators in Transformers' ride building two upwards and two downwards. The effect you are talking about at the end of spiderman is actually annimatronics Synced up to the screens behind you as well as the ride vehicle fully raising itself up to give the illusion of going up. Hope this helps :)

Hulk underwent a full retrack in 2016. It definitely began to show its age before then.

7:40 the dead stop on hulk’s midcourse brake run happens when the train is heavy and because its running too fast. (I don’t know if that’s the actual reason but it has happened to me before)

Do not try to do the single rider line on Hagrid’s unless it’s a slow day. I’ve been on it 50 times and usually the single rider line takes significantly longer than the regular queue. Same for Velocicoaster.

Love this park, really amazing and VelociCoaster is incredible. But I’m not a fan of the generalization of “best park ever” just like I don’t like the “best song ever” or “best movie ever” etc, it’s all up to your taste so there is no best ever when it comes to these things. If I had kids, or was more into theming than rides, then I can totally see this being someone’s favorite park…but for me, not enough roller coasters and wayyyy overpriced lol. I’m going to parks exclusively for coasters, I never go on flat rides, dark rides, play games, or view shows, I barely eat!! 😂 Since I’m so coaster centric, I find these parks with amazing theming but only a few roller coasters to be lots of fun and worth checking out for sure…but I’d rather be at Great Adventure, Hershey, Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, or even SeaWorld Orlando. 🤷‍♂️

I wouldn’t say so because 1 coasters might be themed, but supports and track aren’t 2 overuse of screens 3 not very many good animatronics etc. I love universal, but Disney still takes the cake
