This Hazmat Combo deck might just be the perfect answer to the meta titan that is Thanos, and it might just be a really good deck in general!

Power Estimate: I had a strong 69% win rate with this deck through my first 16 games, and many others are reporting success with it as well. Its roots are in Sera Surfer, which is a proven archteype, and the greedier Hazmat elements seem well suited to certain metas.

@@keanjue723 I recommend Black Widow or Wolfsbane. Both are 3 cost and can play nice with Abs man. Shaw will be in next weeks cache along with red Hulk so may be worth spending some keys.

This was My dream List: Psylock Zabu Ravonna Mystique Gambit Mister negative Wong Absorbing man Iron lad Sera Knull Apocalypse or Swarm, to discard Can destroy up to 8 cards from table.

Playing this while Utopia was an active hotzone was an absolute dream. Got me all the way from lvl 70 to 100 in about 3 hours in ladder. Also tip for anyone trying out this deck, if you are ever in a position where you wonder which cards might give you the best payoff, hazmat has the best payoff when dealing with a large amount of enemy cards on their zones. Ironheart gets the best payoff when you have a low amount of cards on your zones. Silver Surfer gets the best payoff when you actively have specifically 3 cost cards spread out like brood/magik/lukecage/sebastian. Usually wanna play sebastian in a zone seperate from brood and you wanna spread your 3 cost cards evenly through 2 zones while saving the last one for the wong combos. If cosmo'd, swap lanes with absorbing man/mis for whichever cards get locked off

Hi Regis, I have a pretty fun deck for you to try. It is a similar version to your wong toxic deck but focused on destroying your opponent's cards. Here I leave you the list and I hope you try it. It depends on the combo... but when everything goes well it's almost free win... you can destroy up to 8 of your opponent's cards! :0 List: Psylock Zabu Ravonna Mystique Gambit Mister Negative Wong Absorbing man iron lad Sera Knull Apocalypse or Swarm (for infinite discard) U can play it without negative and use pixie or electro or other cards to ramp.. for example. I built a deck like this back when mobius first came out. The Wong, mystique, iron heart, Odin is enough to win almost any game as long as you have a card or two in other lanes. Insane and so much fun to play if you get it

I somehow beat a Tribunal deck with this. When you hit the combo it’s crazy. Although you have to sit there watching it for like 5 mins. 😂

OMFG! I used to buy cases of Soylent monthly a few years back. It wasn’t bad, but there was a lot of strangeness going on with the creator/ceo. Ultimately it just got a bit expensive. That said stuff might of changed over the years.

I've been playing a similar deck since I picked the game back up this month. Haven't played since July so I was missing a lot of meta cards but I threw something like this together and made it all the way to Infinite on it. I wasn't using AbMan or Sera and I don't have Shaw, so instead I have Bast (for an early buff and Luke Cage cancels out the few cards it hurts), Sunspot (the deck rarely gets to play on full curve anyway), and Black Widow (disrupt the opponent and make them put down an extra card for Hazmat to hurt). Gonna try to get Shaw next week in spotlight caches though. I also had a 69% winrate.

It's a Surfer deck, you can use every 3 cost card, like Gladiator, Killmonger, Hope, Cosmo for Luke Cage, Mobius, (ShadowKing is good too)...or maybe Punisher🗿

I would recommend rogue or negasonic. Shaw is fantastic for big numbers, but with right combo you'll get your mystique to 40 power so tech cards can replace shaw for sure imo.

Such a difficult deck to pull off. If you don't have the cards you need in order you pretty much get locked up. Been a struggle might be my MMR though.

I’m still partial to the less greedy version of surfer. Forge/rogue/Killmonger instead of mystique/sera/odin. Just more tech and can still get easily big enough as you can win tons of lanes with rogue alone.

This deck is better with Zabu in it. I replaced Shaw (don't have him) but probably better to remove the Hazmat/Cage.

Like dramatically better, IMO. I'm not sure Shaw is the right cut, but I know you want Zabu. Hazmat is fun but you probably cut Haz/Cage and add Zabu + 3 drop of your choice. I also think Storm might be better than Magik but will have to test.

Obviously it doesn’t matter, but what is the actual reason Regis doesn’t play variant cards? Is just sort of his bit the way KMBest only plays with purple borders or MOLT only plays with the pink borders? I’ve never seen him explain it or address it so thought I’d ask!

It's mostly just a meme at this point, but originally I thought it made videos notably easier to watch, much easier on your eyes/brain to process cards that are familiar instead of having to read/think. Especially in thumbnails, I want people to recognize cards. I've seen so many thumbs from other people where I didn't recognize the variant and I didn't like that.

There isn't a lot of deck ideation out there these days, so whenever a cool new deck pops up in the community, everybody is more likely to cover the same one. This deck was especially prominent because Glenn Jones commented on a thread about it. In the past, it felt like more new decks showed up, so you were less likely to get repeats of people playing the same ones. I monitor Twitter, reddit, data sites to keep my eyes peeled for cool new decks (and of course credit them when I do), but there just aren't as many fun spins or new ideas.
