"In the fifties, when chemo wasn’t yet widely used, high-dose B12 shots (10,000µg) were given to children with a neuroblastoma tumor, every two days, for 2-3 years. In most patients, the tumor disappeared either entirely or partially."

Exactly! Ones who are pushing a certain narrative appear to try and discredit or minimize the positive impact from vitamins/nutrients; they have no credibility in my book. Because they're subtlety and simultaneously undermining the dire consequences from man-made meds. And a typical omission entails the profound difference between synthetic vitamins (which are usually made by the same pharmaceutical companies as these meds) and organic ones, etc.

Yes, you are correct. Notice how they dont talk about that anymore? Cancer is caused by a parasite. A parasite! Not a vitamin. They lie to us about everything.

The most important thing this guy said in his video was in 4:17 timestamp. Correlation doesn't equal causation! The study he referred to showed people with high levels of B12 but that wasn't supplementing. It wasn't of people that got those high levels through supplementation. There's a big difference there. I think the way he said it was a bit misleading. The levels of those people with cancer was given for one unknown cause. Vitamin B12 is extremely safe even in large doses. There's was a experiment in Japan with astronomical high dosage of B12. And it actually helped the patients. Not a single negative side effect were find. In this video a doctor talk about how much B12 is "too much"(spoiler: there's no such a thing): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bdlnabx1qKe2dY0.htmlsi=Lm228yiM8yolkL7f

The research studies mentioned in this video had dosages in the astronomical range. No normal human being swallows that amount. Peripheral neuropathy actually requires up to 3,000 mcg of B12. Also, there are various forms of B12 and B6. Methylcobalamin B12 and Pyridoxal 5-Phospate B6 are the safe forms to consume in large reasonable dosages.

You should never take supplements without first referring to your doctor. I have a problem with not being able to absorb B12 and my level is around 110. I have had symptoms for years and only recently started having injections with medical follow up to check my blood. So far I have had several injections over the past months and my level has not changed. Apparently it can take several months for the B12 to be absorbed in the liver to levels where it is the released into the blood. So it is very important to keep checking your blood.

@@dustin.k.williams Can too much B12 or Folate or vegetable glycerin cause this? I just re-started taking a sublingual Supplement that has those three ingredients (and water) .... I have been taking oral B12 & B-complex supplements that also have intrinsic factor (due to Achlorhydria & yes taking Betaine HCL with pepsin and digestive enzymes for years..) but this is the fourth time re-starting the sublingual and have tried two brands ... ? What do you think is "most likely"? I have tried both with and without all the oral supplements and still... the only difference is the first two times (4 months ago) were horrendous and took weeks to get over each time... but the last two times have been "less intense" ...but still very bad... Also the first two times were a B12 ONLY sublingual that only had glycerin and water and NO folate.... I have Achlorhydria and do take Betaine HCL with pepsin & digestive enzymes... And have siblings that take B-12 shots and everyone on family that has ever been tested has tested low to deficiency level of B-12... The oral supplements contain many times more B-12 and have intrinsic factor... Also, would love to know if the "intrinsic factor" in supplements is known to "work" or if it isn't likely to help ?

I don’t actually remember what caused me to start taking B12, when my doctor told me I should take iron, a few weeks ago. But, I learned that, being on a high dosage of Metformin, long term, makes a number of people deficient in B12. In addition, the hair loss I’ve been suffering, for about 20+ years, is starting to reverse. I don’t know how much will actually regrow. But, it’s a start. I will get that test done, because I’m pretty sure my GP, nor any other doctor I’ve seen in the past 20 years, knows anything about this.

TINGLING, NUMBNESS, BURNING AND SLIGHT PAIN PROBABLY DUE TO “overdose” of b12: I supplemented with b12 without checking my levels first and took more than I should have. My levels were afterwards at 2000 and i stopped taking it. About 20 days later i began experiencing tingling, itching, numbness and some burning sensation on my left foot. Now my levels have gone down to 850. The neurologist said, although not sure, that i might have been caused due to the “overdose” of b12. I have been feeling this for a month. @M oh lord! The neurologists I went to said that b12 has none of this side effects, instead they checked amongst many things my b6 levels, which odd enough came back above the healthy levels. The type of B12 makes a huge difference. Hydroxocobalamin grabs heavy metals and takes them out of the body. If taking methylcobalamin, people often find they need to balance this with adenosylcobalamin. Unfortunately, methylcobalamin is cheap and stable, adenosylcobalamin expensive and unstable...you see where this is going?

However, I began only taking a tablet every other day. I didn't feel it was helping me either way. Then I discovered through some study because I have a condition called CMT1A and my body doesn't rebuild Myelin I probably had a different need for something with L-5-MTHF and I should probably take something else that I could more readily absorb so now I take Methyl Folate +. This has 500mcg B12 instead of 1000mcg I was prescribed. I seem to be having more energy on the new different supplement after a month or more.

@M You are lucky you don’t have any other nasty symptoms. Yeah I’ve been close to death as well after drinking too many cans of Red Bull, I had some horrible symptoms too including no feeling in my legs, ringing in the ears which was on and off, insomnia which lasted a whole week if not for like 10 or 11 days straight, light to mild chest pain. After about 11 or 12 days I was fully back to normal I had feeling in my legs again the chest pain was gone and the ringing subsided as well I could have died I definitely was extremely lucky I didn’t die I felt as though I shouldn’t have survived but I did. God is great.

I have been taking too high levels of liquid B complex unknowingly for many years and now have elevated B12 levels as well as creatinine, Alkaline Phosphatase and ALT levels. Can this be due to the high B12 levels and can it be reversed by reducing or eliminating B vitamins? I have an organic vegan diet and concerned about these high liver levels. I am a runner and benefit from the B vitamins though deeply concerned about cancer and early mortality due to these years of high levels of B vitamins! Thank you!! I am grateful for your videos!!!

Thank you for the kind words! Elevated liver enzymes can be caused by multiple different reasons, so it would be really hard to say that's due to excess B vitamins consumption. Most B complex supplements do have too much of the B vitamins (in my opinion) for long term consumption.

My B12 tested quite low a few years after a R hemicolectomy + a resection of the terminal ileum (secondary to an intussusception). I ate well of meat, fish, eggs & dairy in the years before & after this, but I guess I was just using up my stores. Thankfully I was able to build it up with oral supplements (50mcg a day). So it seems I have just enough distal ileum to absorb it orally, but I do need the supplements. At least I think I still do.... lol. It's been several years since I last had a B12 test. I don't take a complex, just B12 in cyanocobalamin form, as the methyl form is only available where I live as part of a MEGA B complex dose, which contains quantities of the other B vitamins that are between 2000% & 6000% of the RDI. No thanks. What I'm not sure about though is if serum results from oral supplementation can be very high like in someone who has been supplementing parenterally. I know of several people who become highly symptomatic of low B12 when they're late for their injections, even though their levels are well above normal by blood test.

It's tough to say what's "good" or what's "bad" without a lot more information. In most cases you wouldn't need that much everyday, but in certain situations, you might. That's why I like to base it off of what vitamins/minerals you're getting on average from your diet as well as checking your blood work to get a more complete answer.

This week I started supplementing with iron that contained 1,250% RDA Cyanocobalamin. I started feeling unwell and digestive issues - lots of stinky gas and excessive bowel movements and heart palpitations. I suspect I’m having toxicity response. I also suspect that I have a methylation problem or some other issue - either genetic or pernicious anemia (autoimmune). I’ve been mildly anemic and low ALP my whole life and anemia unresponsive to supplementation. I have a whole slough of mild to moderate health issues that may be explained by pernicious anemia or methylation issue (MTFHR issue perhaps). I’m wondering what I can do to support my system to detox from cyanocobalamin. I haven’t found information for that.

563% is at least less B12 than what you get from most basic B12 supplements. There are several factors that play into the absorption and utilization of B12, but it's a cheap and easy blood test to get during a yearly check up just to know where you're at on average.

I have had breast cancer now or two years. My last bloodwork showed that my levels were too high so my doctor told me to stop taking the supplements. I read somewhere that too much B12 can cause numbness and tingling in the extremeties, which is what lead me to receive an MRI to make sure there was no metastasis to the spine. The MRI showed none, but after two months of being off of the B12 supplements, I am still experiencing the numbness in extremeties. Have you heard of this before? This is leading me to believe perhaps the overdose could have created some kind of neuropathy condition/nerve damage? Thanks!

I lost my vision for a few minutes, past out in the hallway getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, had terrible shaking, arm and hand numbness, and these episodes lasted for months randomly throughout mostly the evening/middle of the night. It was horrific. Once I took b12 these episodes went away after about 3 weeks! Now, I’m dealing with way too much b12 in my system and don’t know how to regulate it to be a normal range??
@dustin.k.williams
@dustin.k.williams 4 жыл бұрын
Glad you were able to figure out the low B12 issue you had! Regulating vitamins and minerals can be some work. My recommendation would be to utilize apps like Cronometer to track your b12 intake from food and then potentially supplement with much smaller doses of b12. The RDA for B12 is only about 2.5mcg while the average supplement gives you 1000mcg. Finding a supplement that allows you to add more to your diet (if you need it) that gives a more reasonable dose of B12.
