Kick didn't just clone Twitch's interface. It also uses the same servers that Twitch uses, and even use Amazon Interactive Video Service, which is built on the content delivery network (CDN) from Twitch in the first place. They probably pay more for it as well, considering they are a) not owned by amazon (they likely pay a fraction of the listed price), and b) a smaller customer, which means that they do not have the benefit of the scale Twitch has when buying server time.
