Thanks for the video, nicely done. Vdara is one of our favorites. Soon will have that indoor connected walkway to Cosmo allowing access to 2 casinos without having to go outdoors!

Thanks for this. Made me glad I’ve booked Vdara for the next trip. Gets us away from the wildness of the Casino but not too far! Walkways being finished is a big plus!! Best of everything it seems!

You crushed it Ashden! Let's get you guys back together on these. Love the fountain corner suites as well. Vdara is our home in Vegas. Hopefully the Cosmo walkway is open soon. We were there the first day the new Bellagio covered walkway opened. Makes dinner reservations at Bellagio just as easy as Aria.

Great video! Vdara is pretty awesome. Literally my only gripe is that the “blackout” shades, at least in the room I got, did let sunlight in. I wish I had brought a night mask. Otherwise, it is pretty perfect. It’s like having a really nice apartment in the middle of The Strip for a just unbelievably low price.

Agreed with everything you shared! I am one of those who lug around their own food and drinks, so the full sized kitchen is always a win. I found the entire suite too bright in the day, but stunning views at night. Hope you had a great stay. Always enjoy your content. Keep up the great work!

Solid video...Been a regular at Vdara for several years, primarily because it is non smoking and it is a short walk to Aria. Once the sky bridge to Cosmo is open it will really complete city center.

Thanks for this Ashden, these rooms are massive, presumably it's super expensive? Because it's a non gambling hotel I've never been inside before so this was super useful.

My wife and I were there towards the end of September and had a Panoramic Suite. We did not get a K-Cup machine, even though we requested the kitchen supplies. The frying pan was very low end and everything stuck to it. Our room looked identical to yours except it was not as fresh. Some wear and tear on the furniture and blinds. If they get a refresh I would definitely stay again, but not until then.

A love the video. The Vdara is my wife and I’s favorite place to stay. It is a perfect escape from the lights and noise from the Strip. Plus the location is great. I am also loving the fact that the walkway to the Bellagio is now air conditioned. Once they open the walkway to the Cosmo that will be a huge plus.

I love Vdara, especially the executive corner suites! They recently replaced the carpet in the lobby(not sure I would have gone with that design, but it's new), so they are doing maintenance upgrades. Cosmopolitan isn't that tough to get to from Vdara, you just cut across the parking entrance, but that will be much safer once the walkway/free tram station is completed. The free tram to Park MGM, Crystals and the Aria self parking side are a pro for the property too, especially if you're driving to Vegas!

Well done, Ashden. You definitely did a fantastic job selling the property to someone who's never been. The rooms kind of remind me of a luxury apartment more than a hotel room, very pretty but I'd be the one not wanting to leave when it came time to check out.

Great solo video - did not seem like it at all! I have checked out the Vdara room several times while staying at Bellagio, I thoughts the beds were close to what I like, but just too firm like you said. I love the kitchen option though and will definitely try it out again. Will be nice when connector to Cosmo opens up!

Agree 100% with the comment about the auto controls on curtains and lights - what a nightmare! Especially when you wake up at 3am and stumble to the bathroom - and either blind yourself by hitting the super-bright overhead lights, or open all the curtains by mistake! Aaaaarghhh!

Great video Ashden! This is my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. My only concern is that you are showing the Panoramic Suite in the video, not the City Corner Suite. The Panoramic Suite has windows on three sides, while the City Corner Suite only has windows on two sides. I'm glad to hear they brought back the free Keurig, as in years past it was a $25 per night charge to have one. I'm also pleased to hear that they are starting to refresh the furniture. I've been staying at Vdara for 10 years now, and seen it age too quickly.

What's interesting is we've stayed at Vdara 4 times, and all 4 times we booked a City Corner Suite. All four times they've given us this room. Not sure if they assign them interchangeably at check-in or what... Thanks for watching!

😅 Had to pause the video halfway through to write this. I've stayed at Vdara once many years ago, and it is still one of my favorite hotels on the strip. I haven't stayed at the other CityCenter properties (yet), but I'll include them as my favorite location on the strip. I can hardly believe that complex is as old as it is, but the way its holding up to me, I still really enjoy it and it's one of the first places I consider whenever I think of a trip out to LV. As for Vdara, I enjoy the non-gaming, non-smoking atmosphere and the fact it's an all suite property.

i just stayed in a panoramic suite and so far it's my favorite room -- you forgot to point out how they don't have self parking, they only have valet parking. And you have to walk from Aria or Bellagio parking lots if you use self parking. I'm sure the Cosmopolitan will be good self parking for Vdara too when they finish the walkway. And yes -- it was a goose chase when we tried to figure out how to close the shades and turn off the lights.

Thanks for the video and info. So the walkway to the Bellagio is open? Saw in another recent video that they had closed for connection to the Cosmo? Booked 4 days in December and liked the fact that you can connect to the Bellagio. I have family staying there same time.

We stayed at the Vdara once. Nice room for sure. Hotel has no amenities and everything closed early. They would say go to the Aria. I prefer the MGM Signature one bedroom units.

Comps go significantly farther at Vdara than they do at Aria. It’s in line with Delano, price wise.

Well done video for you first Ashden...you sound great and did well. Question: Do they charge for the detergent if you ask for some? Were thinking we would go to Walgreens or CVS or Target otherwise.

Another post, another great video! The Vdara used to have a fairly nice restaurant called the Silk Road, it went away in 2015 (?). Do you know what sits on the space where that restaurant used to be? Also, am I to conclude there is no cocktail lounge? It could sorely use one. Thanks! Chris

The cocktail lounge is Vice Versa, you can see it from the outside at 5:55 in the video. It’s a nice indoor/outdoor lounge. The space where Silk Road used to be is now part of Vdara’s conference/meeting space. Thanks for watching!

A Keurig machine is $20 to rent a day. Also, bring your plug-in charger, there are only 2 USB ports in the tablet clock, none else where throughout the room. In this age of electronics, that's pretty sad.

The toilet alcove has no door, but the bathroom ITSELF has a door. You can close and lock the door when showering or using the toilet.

Sure, but if somebody else is getting ready in the bathroom at the same time you have no privacy whatsoever. Which is why most high-end rooms have a fully separate water closet. Thanks for watching!

I believe this is a panoramic suite, not city corner. Does it have a powder room at the entrance? I love Vdara, no smoky smell, no noise, no tacky, underdressed people walking around trying to get attention. Lots of families and cute doggies everywhere.

They’re the same size and they assign them interchangeably. Of the four times we’ve booked a City Corner Suite, twice it has been this floor plan. Neither has a powder room, but the other one has a dedicated vanity area.

Unfortunately no, it is neither free nor easy to access. As with all MGM properties, self parking is paid unless you are Pearl or higher in the player's club. Self parking for Vdara is currently over at Aria, which is a bit of a hike to get to. Once the skybridge to Cosmopolitan opens, the Cosmo garage will probably be the better option.

The Vdara Death Ray, it was called. They installed a film on the exterior of the building that reduces the glare.

I would say Vdara all day, but I had a bad experience at Delano and I thought their so-called suite was small in comparison. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Vdara I think is better because the Delano doesn’t come with a microwave and and empty refrigerator to put food and drinks in..plus it’s on the strip

I consistently keep staying at Vdara because of the things you mentioned but the major thing for me is the quietness of the rooms! Since it was built as a condo the soundproofing and the location of the bed in the room is fantastic. IMO the rooms are the quietest in Vegas. Plus, there the hallway traffic is minimal. I am afraid once the connection to Cosmo works Vdara will become even more popular. I also like that you just walk the short walk to Aria, go up the escalator by the entrance and you are right at the new Aria food court. Great first video.

It was. It’s a pretty small pool area, so crowding can be a problem. You also have access to Aria’s pools, though!

Fair enough, but it takes less than 5 minutes to walk from your Vdara room to the Aria casino floor. Some hotels WITH casinos take longer than that. Thanks for watching!
