HERE IT IS! The finished Warlock in Dark and darker. With 8 new spells and a couple new perks warlock is insane. Is warlock the new wizard? Might be my new main honestly. So excited for the Dark and Darker wipe patch!

Ray of Darkness seems to be the one skill that hard scales with flat magic damage bonus cause will is % bonus...since its only 3 you need 33% extra just for 1 more dps meanwhile the +1 magic or +1 true magic damage bonuses would do that already

That lever is one of two that opens the stone door in that area, across from the coffins.

Only the pillar one opens the stone door. That level is there for a spawn room under the stairs

Hydra is also able to detect invisible players, so you can rogue check by throwing hydras into a room before you enter

25 min the lever under it was added in the beginning of goblin caves being released. There was a spawn room under the ramp there

There’s another lever near the pillar In the room before the ramp, pulling both levers opens the stone sore at the bottom of the ramp

lol maybe they fixed it but this didn't work last patch i tried lots of thing but it never opened BUT if you use one near Piler have fun coz a skeleton warrior comes out a different stone door @@TheIronStarks

One thing they did right for this patch was the loot ive been finding so much good stuff in default goblin caves i think they kept the high roller loot table on the other caves map

25:00 i think the lever releases the skeleton champion from the secret passage. but i guess when it doesnt spawn, nothing happens when u use the lever. its pretty easy to tell it spawned tho, u can hear its steps a mile away

Been maiming warlock since release. Woke up at 4 am and started farming troll can’t wait to get back. I think the good thing is that warlock now has so many different good strats that unless they really bring down the hammer he’s nerf proof. Even if they fix some cheese like the fire walk phantasm, he’s got so many other strong moves.

I like the hydra more than the beam of darkness. It only hits for 18 damage per head, but you can plop it and kite while healing.

The only thing about warlock im not liking rn is that other damage dealing spells like hellfire dont heal you while something is cursed. Idk if that's intentional, but it's definitely hard to get used to after maining warlock before the update. I'm not sure if it would be too strong, but I guess theres enough heals without it for now

The lever under the stairs has been bugged for ages, under the stairs theres a square on the wall right infront of the lever that should move by it with some chests, bugged since a playtest. You can see what should open if you look infront of the lever.

Damn, I played whole day with Curse Mastery without knowing it's bugged. It blocks Power of Sacrifice healing when cast with Pain, and it blocks Pain initial dmg. I will give it another try today!

Warlock gets countered by wizard in a pure casting fight. Warlock has to force a melee fight at some point

But Warlock has hitcan. Si its way easier for him to hit his spells. Wizard has to come close, to hit with fireballs, so Warlock can use Blow of Corruption. Wizard cannot use invis, after the first dot spell, due to dot damage. In my eyes Warlock counters Wizard, way easier to hit the spells. Wizard has to play flawless to win this.

Pro tip for warlocks, you can summon a hydra on the escape portals to protect you while you open it and leave if things are getting a little spicy

Healing on Warlock seems a bit buggy. At first it all seemed normal but power of sacrifice seems to not work sometimes. It stopped working as soon as I was in a group so that might be something that effects it

It was never supposed to give you health back. That was a bug, just like hitting them with Hellfire healing you if you hit something with CoP on. Read the perk. It SPECIFICALLY SAYS Curse of pain, no other ability.
