Idk if he’s the singular best but you can’t deny he’s among the best active wrestlers today. I think Ospreay as a whole is only a notch under someone like Kenny Omega but he’s like right there. Will has more physical ability and athleticism but I don’t know that he has equal level of storytelling ability as Kenny and the ability where you can take him, stick him in a match with anyone on the planet and he’ll give you 5 stars and shapeshift his wrestling style to gel with the opponent/match. So for me personally Kenny Omega is the best wrestler alive rn but Will isn’t terribly far off. The matches the two have had together have evidenced how absolutely amazing Will can be with the right opportunity and dance partner. He can be the guy. Absolutely. It’s just the small things and qualities imo.

I haven’t seen enough of Ospreay’s work to definitively say he is or isn’t, but to me it’s Danielson right now (when he isn’t doing the mudshow fake screwdrivers and violence bs). The way he can put together a whole match that can be an hour long and yet it feels like it’s 15 minutes is amazing.

Best in the world when it comes to the in ring portion of wrestling. But if we're talking overall? It's not any of those three. They are all 10 in the ring but 5 or 6 on the mic and 5 or 6 as a character. Where as a guy like Rock or Austin are 8s in the ring but 10s as character Cena was like an 8 in the ring and an 8 or 9 as character. These guys are just doing spots
