Is it worth it to the customer? Absolutely. The bigger question "is it worth it to the developer?" While it does offer you a cash infusion and visibility, there have also been several reports of developers getting shafted by being on gamepass.

Hell no its not worth it. It's a scam, you pay money every month regardless if there's no new game released. They don't even own the game and not every game comes to gamepass so if one comes out, you don't like you still have to play. Just buy the games you are interested in and wait for sales of other games. You actually save more money that way

hey i'm back again with another point/opinion and i totally forgot one key factor as to another reason why the collection is not going into Xbox. It's because Sony owns EVO. That's right, sony owns EVO cause they bought them out back in what? 2020 or somewhere around here in the 2020s. That's why Killer Instinct hasn't been showing up in the roster at EVO much anymore cause of Sony. They trying to be competing in the fighting games or trying to monopolize the games potentially. More reasons for people to buy Sony product shit basically just because. But thankfully sony doesn't see nintendo as part of a competitor and Steam is just a place to buy games.

The problem with Game pass is not the value proposition. It is the fact that it takes what is already the smallest user base in the console / PC gaming space and renders a significant portion of them inert sales wise. So you have a relatively small user base that is never been known for buying Japanese games en masse (for example FF XV on XBOX was outsold 7 to 1 by the PS4 version) and a portion of them do not buy games at all.
