This is my new display tablet - XP-Pen artist 15.6 pro. In this video, I will unbox and using it to sculpting with Blender in 30 minutes.
Everything is really smooth. If you are looking for a cheap and good graphic tablet, this is a product worth trying.

I have the Huion 16 incher, replaced my aging cintiq. Works great for sculpting. That said Huion is coming out with a new line of LARGER drawing tablets, an improved pen (same stuff as the XP Pen) for a fraction of the price. I think the 20 inch starts at $399.

Fantastic work! I also use an XP pen product, but it's not the kind of tablet that shows the screen, like yours does.

Looks amazing, and I hope that it feels amazing as well. The sculpt is awesome! Does a display tablet also benefits when doing box modeling workflows, or mouse and keyboard works better in those cases?

i'm not sure if display tablets are good for box modeling, cuz while working you would cover half of your model with your hand(if tablet is big i think it wouldn't be a problem). I think in that case M&K are better and faster. i have tablet myself(no display), and i'm using it only for drawing or sculpting. modeling is pretty hard for me on tablet.

Lot of people doing box modeling with a pen on graphic drawing boad. 3D artists may not need a mouse, but they always need a keyboard

I have this same tablet but have mostly worked in PS and CSP. Would love to learn how to sculpt like this in Blender. I've gotton a bit familiar w Blender using a mouse but I think I need some instruction on how to set it up for use with the pen and tablet.

is it comfortable to you working like this? i tried it but after a while my keyboard hand was acheing, the thing about blender is that you need more than a few shortcuts and the tablet buttons are not enough.

@@phin8521 I personally find YanSculpts to be an amazing sculpter but his characters have a huge same face syndrome problem, which put me off. Also I find it hard to really learn from him, with FlyCat, at least you can just 0.25 the speed and get a near 1 to 1 speed and follow from there.

Practice, LOTS of practice. I remember I was in sculpting class (2nd year of Art School, I want to be a teacher), my sculpting class teacher is an old lady with long nails, almost claw like, and she made a realistic head IN MINUTES, my girlfriend and I were in total disbelief and amazed.

people help! I need to buy a graphic tablet and I have just started in the world of sculpture with zbrush ... I don't know whether to spend on an "XP-Pen Deco Pro Medium" or "Xp Pen Artist 15.6 Pro Usb Full Hd". I have never used one, but from my ignorance it tells me that it is easier to learn with a screen. The tablet isn’t where the gpu is the tablet connects to a pc. So if he rendered it would probably look nice with the colors of the tablet but besides that not much

Blender is all in one, why you only work with sculpting? I am curious to know if you can work with physics simulation or low poly style or animation or VFX. Is learning everything waste of time? 🤔
