Often, artists will stare at a blank canvas and become paralyzed with what people have called "art block". It's where you're either not inspired to draw anything OR you have so many ideas in your head you don't know where to start. This video was taken from my stream where I like to answer questions and offer real time art tips. I was drawing in Procreate but these techniques apply to photoshop, clip studio paint, or any digital or traditional art mediums.
The main point is to create chaos on the canvas to let your mind see patterns, shapes, and details.
