Follow along while I explain in detail how to square and tram a Skyfire SVM-2 CNC Mill.. If you have a mill of any make and model, you should always square and tram your machine when you receive it, after any crash and every year or two.

Nice work buddy. I agree with John (below) you shouldn't have to do this on a brand new machine. Make sure you let Jan Boss know. He will get on to them at the factory for you mate. Cheers, Aaron.

I have a SkyfireVMC (SVM-2V) machine with CNC4640+FCNC4M, from 2016. And the system crashed, and I reinstall the system, but I lose all the parameters. Can anyone help me get the parameters? Thank you

I feel you... They were just what my machine had when I made that change.

what a PITA for a factory new machine. they should be ashamed of themselves.

John Galt agreed. Sub Haas machines fall through the cracks. Really only heard of one other of these landing this far out of whack. And I have heard of tormachs being out of whack too. But yes, totally agree. At prices like these even a baseline machine should be individually QCed before shipping with an inspection report. At least I was able to get it to spec. Would have been a MUCH BIGGER issue if it was off by more than an adjustable tolerance.
