I don’t understand who made it a thing that we buy specific bags because we want to look rich? We are buying them because they are luxurious and beautiful and superior craftsmen ship and quality

I don’t necessarily agree with the LV craftsmanship. Nowadays I’m having to return many items because the lack of craftsmanship. She is a KZfaqr because of where she works but this channel is solely based on HER opinion. Everyone has their opinions. The difference is that she is making money from her opinions. Her opinions aren’t mine and that is my opinion. 😂

My opinion is that those people who are suddenly into this “quiet luxury” are not just hypocrites but social climbers as well. You are on point that those who belong to the old money don’t give shit about this issue. I wear what I want to wear and buy what I want to buy to please myself and not anyone else.

Well said! 👏 Whenever I begin to question my LV monogram I remember that image of Princess Diana rocking her toiletry pouch after disembarking her yacht. I tell myself, "A princess, THE princess, and a yacht, honey." And then I snap back to my senses. 😂

Quiet luxury means “I can afford whatever I like and don’t care what it cost” Loud luxury means “I can afford whatever I want and I don’t care that it’s obviously overpriced” The theme being “I can afford whatever I like”

I love it too! It's loud yet pleasing to the eyes the more you look at it. I will name my daughter Chanel, Louis for my son, and Hermes for my Golden Retriever 😂😂😂

Let’s face it - fashion is all about continually reinventing itself for the sole purpose of selling more. So now the industry is beating the “quiet luxury” drum and the influencers are spreading the message far and wide, all in the hopes that the consumer (us!) will find the need to go and stock their wardrobe with pieces that reflect this direction. And after a certain amount of time goes by they will swing back to favoring strongly-branded pieces again. To me, the REAL “if you know, you know” is buying and wearing what you love and having the confidence to rock your own personal style, no matter what it is, and to respect others who do the same. Thanks for a great video!! 😊

I am unabashedly gravitating towards monograms. It's not because I'm poor and cheap. It just means that I have earned enough money to be able to afford such luxuries.

This conversation is ridiculous. Quiet luxury has existed for hundreds and hundreds of years. It's the way the Royals dress. It's only recently that the New Money crowd discovered quiet luxury, because quiet luxury clients were looking down on them. So now, everyone is running to Laura Piano and trying to get a piece of quiet luxury. In my opinion, you should buy what you like, not what you will think makes you look more or less wealthy, that's lame.

Can we just stick to - my money my choice!,if my logos bother you?! Look da fk away! I personally don’t dig and will never own the giant logos simply bcoz that is not for me…personal choice, period! I do love the classic Monogram or Damier ebene ,Azur Or the Gucci logos coz I love the classic prints and heritage of it. I have Givenchy antigona which has the tiny logo , just because i love the simplicity of it and the IYKYK of it….. let us focus on our personal wants, style and love…it is our money at the end of the day babes. Let us not make a competition between quiet and logo prints bcoz they are both acceptable and should remain an option for our personal bank accounts gosh😅😁😎✌🏽

I like the aesthetic, but really it’s just an aesthetic. People be ‘Don’t wear logos, it’s tacky’ but trying to look rich in their Zara, H&M and their fast fashion items 😆

I am by no means rich but I like so called luxury handbags. I have several but I won't spend more than 2000.00 although that is still a ridiculous amount for a bag. I wear my bags with whatever outfit i want. I don't care what anybody ssys. I don’t even understand why this is a thing. LIVE AND LET LIVE. If i want to go broke buying handbags, nobody's problem but my own.

I’m not rich and was never into luxury products literally UNTIL quiet luxury became a thing. Now that everyone is dressing drab like me I’m like “hey, maybe I can finally get some damier azur just because I always liked it, not because I think it makes me look like I’m from fancy town.” Maybe I’m just a poor contrarian.

For the leather on the monogram, I saw one very old speedy and the leather on it really looked old and dark and uneven. I didn’t see that can be given to the next generation.

If you can afford an LV handbag, I wouldn’t say you’re poor but who cares? I actually don’t care what other people think. If I like an item, I buy it for me not for others but honestly, I don’t see LV the way I use to. Their craftsmanship and customer service has declined A LOT and not worth the money they’re charging. Sad that these u tubers or hack influence-rs think that this is new. Rich people do not flaunt or get on these forms to brag about what they enjoy. Only wanna be goes on to these forms to "look" rich/luxurious. They remain low profile. If your on this forum, then your not wanting to look low profile.
