Is Yu'lon Better than Niuzao in Bainegore? (Hearthstone Mercenaries Heroic Xaril and High Justice)

In this video, I take a look at a variant of Bainegore that uses Yu'lon instead of Niuzao. This variant has some clear advantages in situations where Trigore has more health than Baine (both unmaxed, only Baine maxed, or both maxed).

another thanks for inspiration ! "BaineGore" helped me to get a bit through heroic-bosses, but against casters, they often killed 1 merc of the red trio, so I often used Yu'lon as Baine-replacement, where its buffet unfortunately canceled Niazao's taunt, which caused additional pain... furthermore, in later PVE-content, the casters often have more ATK than Niazao and he therefore "shoots" at the enemy instead of 'attacking', so no Trigore's Backlash :( in order to trigger this, Baine had to attack, while enemies simply focused on Trigore, ignoring Niuzao's taunt :( but Yu'lon sounds interesting in keeping Trigore alive while Baine can heal AND attack (for Trigore), at the same time increasing his heal-power with that...

Positioning is like on the first battle. Have can't touch this of nemsy replacing yulon and cast bogonomic on that grounding totem. Pretty fun.😊

is it because AI always attacks lowest health first? Or whats the reason Baine cant be higher HP than Trigore?

There are other factors, but yes, the lower-health Merc is more often selected as a target.

It's her third ability that summons whelps on Deathblow

Multiple Deathblows through overkill on Baine's Totem. I suppose it works as intended for area-of-effect damage, but the interaction is a little weird.

@@begija Yes, I know that the ability do that, but why 3? It only killed the totem.

@@OldGuardian Very weird, I think it should be 2 as maximum. The damage on the totem itself wasn't enough to kill it. Then the damage redirected from the 2 mercenaries caused it dies first, and then there was 1 overkill, but not 2 overkills. It's really weird that the 14 damage that reduced the health from 19 to 5 counted as a kill.
