IS300 Drift Project Part 8: Widebody Install

6 жыл бұрынIn this episode, we finally mount the widebody kit and aero to the car. New wheels are mounted, and the car is sent off to paint. Nakai-san likes ramen. The widebody kit made by Rebew Designs was supplied by the Suprastore. The kit is a BN style kit supplied by Fineline tuning.

For those waiting for Eric's Rebuild vlog, New episodes in the making and will be released in 2018. Eric works a very demanding job and had very little time this year. And what little progress was made was lost due to a hard drive crash. (This update was stated in my previous IS300 video). As I am writing this, the car has yet to run. So not much has been missed. I guarantee a future video, but we don't know exactly when. All I can do now is apologize for the wait.

The only thing I would have done different is put silicone sealant between the flares and the body panel itself as well as spray anti-rust on the inner. Other than that, decent job.

Did you just put the screws on without additional hexagon nuts from the inside? and the mold part is hanging on those screws?? 😯😯 Is this safe? Is there another way that you could install it without the screws to appear on the parts? Great job although

I have a 2Jge/T is it worth sticking it into the Sc300? (engine came from a GS300 rebuilt with GTE internals) was going to 300Zx swap but I just found an sc300 with no trans or engine for sale.
