इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं शक्ति वाकई में एक बेहतरीन मुवी हैं... पर उससे भी बेहतरी बात जो आपने कही....ये मुवी थर्ड क्लास दर्शकों के लिए नहीं बनी.... सेलूट है शक्ति मूवी के मेर्क्स को जिन्होंने ऐसी बेहतरीन मूवी बनाईं.... वो आसु जो मूवी देखते हुए मेरी आंखों ने बहाए.... उसके बाद तो कुछ कहने की जरूरत नहीं की मूवी कैसी है.... वैभव जी अच्छा लगा... कि आज भी लोगों को रियल...!!! Sholey aur Trishul dk ne chhodi. Because Amitabh role was strong. On the other hand amitabh accepted the role which was small, weak and negative. Dk only one type of boring acting. Amitabh ki tarah different role kabhi nahi kar paya. During that time all dk films were flop at box office. So he needed Amitabh. Amitabh banned news paper writters & media . So negative was written about amitabh in newspaper. Amitabh was nominated for best actor award.

मेरे खियाल से अमिताभ का रोल पावरफुल था ,अमिताभ से गलती ये हुई कि इस फ़िल्म दिलीप कुमार स्टाइल की एक्टिंग करने की कोशिश नहीं की ,अमिताभ की एक्टिंग स्टाइल में दिलीप कुमार की छाप दिखाई देती थी पर इस फ़िल्म में ऐसा नहीं हुआ और दिलीप कुमार के सामने फीके रह गये ।मैंने फ़िल्म के दर्जनों रिव्यू पढ़े थे और सभी ने एक मत से यही कहा था कि दिलीप कुमार अमिताभ पर भारी पड़े

No comparision between the two Dilip.sahab was a library of acting but Amitabh.calibre only a book in that library. The Hollywood actors acclaimed Dilipji as an artist par excellence unmatched by any Hollywood actor.Amitabh is only a shadow of Dilip sahab.

Yes see in an author backed role one can't expect the other person to get much scenes. In this case, it's Dilip Kumar who had the backing...that's fine...many films are there. In mashaal, the role of Anil Kapoor was to be given to Kamal Hasan and kamal was very eager to do but he realised that there won't be any spl scenes for him against dilip Saab so he backed out. It's fine.

Both were playing their respective characters but yes, Dilip Kumar was successful in getting more sympathy. Ramesh Sippy and Salim Javed were under DK's influence so they accommodated the changes. Amitabh was upset with Ramesh Sippy over this. But DK was not an easy person to work with.
