Sir I used to walk more than 10 km per day twice. average 13 minutes per km for last 60 years, I am 73 years old, I never went any doctor except dentist. So my advice to everyone walk always, I walk at least 360 days a year, I m posting this for guidance

I do brisk walk (around 100 steps a minute) 6 days out of 7 in a week in a nearby park. I have a Omron pedometer that I keep with me in my pocket all the time and the aim is to complete 10000 - 12000 steps a day(including walk in park). So unlike 30 minutes as you have recommended , my overall walk time becomes nearly 2 hrs a day (majority in park). Always loved walking since childhood.
