Thank you for being so vulnerable in your lyrics, your wording in this and other songs really speak to me. It feels powerful to sing along with you, like I'm somewhat reclaiming space back from my own issues/ pain. Even though we've lived different lives, the pain, hopelessness and hope for the future you express resonates. I haven't found that with but a handful of other artists, and value it greatly as a talent to be so open AND able to turn all of this negativity into something so beautiful. I really enjoyed the rap + singing in this one as well, and the beat as always is sick. I hope this encourages you to keep singing in future tracks, that + the rap is a great combo IMO.
