Yeah, most definitely, WE DO need more fighters like Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz in THIS business called Boxing. Y'see Isaac Cruz yeah, he reminds me SO much of 2 other Fighters in particular. And those 2 other Fighters are: Terence "Bud" Crawford & Manny "PAC Man" Pacquiao & I'll explain to y'all WHY. Isaac Cruz is a guy who doesn't just "Talk It". Nah, He walks it too!! Same as David "El Bandera Roja" Benavidez too. Although they're absolute beasts IN the ring, they're also real, true gentlemen outside of the ring as well. A real good ambassador for Boxing as a whole, y'know? NO 🚫 trash talking, always ready, willing & able to fight & he's NOT 🚫 about that crazy life outside of the ring, like say an "Adrian Broner" for example. In fact, the less said about him, the better!! Isaac Cruz, Manny Pacquiao & David Benavidez are ALL about their families & building a lasting legacy & being a real, true role model & a great ambassador for OUR beloved ❤️ sport of Boxing 👊👊❤️💯 ALL 3 of those guys are future Hall of Famers, however, I'd say that Cruz NEEDS several more fights & a few more wins & some more Belts, either at 140 lbs or up at 147 lbs. It's early days yet though, Cruz hasn't even held his Light Welterweight World 🌍 Title for 72 Hours yet, jeez man, cut the guy some slack, okay!! I meant & should've said that Isaac Cruz could one day be a future Hall of Famers, alright? Benavidez is already a certainty as he's won 2 WBC straps up at 168 lbs & has some quality names on his resume. Caneloid, Erm sorry folks, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez said that David Benavidez hasn't achieved anything yet to justify giving him a shot. Well MY personal response to THAT would be as follows: Oh right, so Josesito Lopez, Callum Smith, Austin Trout, & James Kirkland DID have a better reason for you fighting THEM, Yeah? And what exactly, was that reason? I'll tell y'all, shall I? Because THEY, unlike Benavidez, offered NO threat whatsoever. Asking for the Saudi's to pay $200 Million to him, Caneloid, to fight Benavidez!! Just ludicrous really. Y'see, Canelo has been gifted a few decisions throughout his career, he's the Cash Cow of Boxing right about now, his name alone puts asses in seat's. Canelo, in MY honest yet humble opinion lost to Erislandy Lara, No 1. Alvarez blatantly & flagrantly lost BOTH of the First 2 fights against Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin, No's 2 & 3. Hell NO did he beat Golovkin, only in their 3rd fight, & I'll admit that, no shame in losing to Saul Canelo Alvarez. But the very first fight between them was a blatant robbery & put the first blemish on Triple G's career record. Everyone knows that Gennady Golovkin WON their first 2 fights, okay. I had Golovkin winning the rematch by 3-4 rounds, easy. So having faced some of the toughest fighters out there & going up in weight to stop Sergei Kovalev & then coming back down again, it begs the question: Why is Canelo SO spooked by David Benavidez then? What has he, Alvarez, seen in Benavidez that makes him do everything he possibly can to avoid him? I reckon that he knows exactly what to expect from a young, fresh, hard hitting & undefeated fighter like Benavidez. El Bandera Roja or rather, thanks to Iron Mike Tyson for giving him the name "The Mexican Monster", Canelo KNOWS exactly what David's bringing to the fight, IF it does get made, God willing. Both have Anvil's for chin's, both like to mix it up & both are absolute ferocious body puncher's & counter puncher's, although I give that particular edge to Canelo, naturally. There's a huge size disparity & if Benavidez uses that long, stiff power jab to mark up Alvarez & also, to establish & maintain distance, he can literally walk Canelo onto the big right hand. David Benavidez has to pound the absolute shit outta Canelo, work that body both sides & target Canelo's arms, biceps, shoulders, bully & punish him in the clinches & don't give him room to breathe. Cut the ring off intelligently, make a 21 foot ring (which you can just guarantee Canelo Alvarez will ask for) feel like a damn phone booth!! Look how Dmitry Bivol used technical skills, great footwork & punches in bunches to systematically beat the shit outta Caneloid. I'll be the very first one to say that yeah, Benavidez could do with a few more recognisable names on his record, alright? But when you're avoided for the most part of your career, what exactly can you do? David beat Ronald Avril, twice. He brutally dropped then stopped the very hard hitting David Lemuiex well inside the distance. He gave a beatdown to Caleb Plant, winning by Unanimous Decision & rightly so too. Lastly, he knocked out the previously undefeated & also extremely avoided (because of his unorthodox style) Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade a few months ago. So he's now fighting regularly & is training his backside off right about now yo!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, David Benavidez also beat & stopped (in typical brutal fashion) Andre "The Dog" Dirrell as well. So y'see, yet another big name to go alongside the likes of Rojelias "Porky" Medina, who he dropped twice before putting him down & out for good via a 5-6 punch combination that was just friggin brutal!! It's not 🚫 just the fact that David "El Bandera Roja" is winning but most importantly, it's the WAY in which he's stopping them!! He's doing it very impressively & also, very brutally too. Y'all need to bare in mind that at just the age of 19 or so, David Benavidez was the Chief sparring partner for none other than Gennady Golovkin for approx 3 years or so!! Now you wonder WHY he's such a ferocious & brutal body puncher!! And I wonder WHO exactly taught him how to cut off the ring like he does? And that high pressure style of fighting, where did a young David Benavidez learn all this from? Triple G of course!! You can see the similarities between them. He sparred with Kelly Pavlik too, helping him to prepare for the fight against Jermaine Taylor, when Taylor was the 160 lbs Middle Weight King 👑🌍💯. Benavidez has been in the business ever since he was an overweight child of 12-13 & was constantly being told that he was just a fat kid who weren't going anywhere fast!! He actually said that Triple G gave him his best work, he got paid by Team Golovkin very well indeed & he sparred hundreds of rounds with the likes of Miguel Cotto, Sergio Martinez, Irish Andy Lee & just SO many others. That's a wealth of experience right there alone. David's been in camp with dozens of ex & current World 🌎 Champions. Canelo Alvarez, IF you were able to go up to 175 lbs in order to fight Sergei Kovalev, only to win the strap from him & then to just relinquish it without defending it even once!! Then sure you can make 168 lbs easy in order to make the fight that the entire Boxing World 🌍 is crying out to see. Do it for the fans that have supported you through thick & thin. Canelo, you say that you fight for the People of Mexico, so make THIS fight Vs David Benavidez & the winner gets to face David Morrell for ALL the straps then, yeah? NO MORE Cherry 🍒 Picking at this late stage in your career. IF you truly want your legacy to be cemented in stone, then fight this young man then. Or all you're going to hear is folks whispering about WHY you ducked David Benavidez. Do it NOW Caneloid, get paid a fuckin fortune & get outta Boxing with your money 💰💵💸 & your health intact. Only one stopping THIS fight from being made & actually happening now is YOU. D'you really believe that Salvador Sanchez or the legendary Julio Caesar Chavez or Israel Vasquez or Rafael Marquez & Juan Manuel Marquez would've turned a fight of THIS magnitude down?
