I miss Toups, man. I feel like he would pop up in videos on Munchies and what not pretty regularly for a while, but it's been a bit since I've seen him in one. He's one of my favorite cooking personalities for sure.

He’s an amazing guy just left no he seems to always be at the RESTURUANT he’s not some internet perosnality he truly loves his product and I can’t say it was incredible toups meatery is the best place I’ve ever been !

I usually don't care for these "how to videos" on youtube, but this guy is a gem! Hes so funny and entertaining that i just had to keep on watching, also the recipe seems amazing. More of him please!

His restaurant is awesome. My girlfriend and I were in New Orleans and got to eat there and wouldn't you know it the chef was there. Super glad he stopped and said hello even though he had a sick kid. Great experience and amazing man and food!!

My fiancee and I went to Toups' Meatery back in June and got the charcuterie board. The mixture of fat, acid, and sweet in each bite was absolutely phenomenal and the spicy marg was a perfect blend of sensations!

When you break the mayo, you can of course pretend its just oil and send it back to new yolks. If you do the tall, stab blender method, you just put the pot back into the fridge for a while, and it separates back to its levels. Something I have not seen in print, just worked it out intuitively.

Love Issac Toups' energy! And his recipes even more! I still use this quote from one of his Top Chef promos - "I've only got 2 speeds: Full Boar or Dead!" His videos have given me the confidence to go turbo and dark on my roux. Saves me soooo much time! And the depth of flavor going deep.

Man I’ll never forget his fried pork chop dish at one of his spots in NO. About 5-6 stacked chops and the stack of bread it was something I’ve never seen before being from NY lol and of course it was delicious

lol i was a sous-chef @ a little Italian place in my teens and into my mid 20's . The owner "chef" enjoyed his gambling, whenever he would see left over in the food possessor, mixing bucket sauce pot , he would say "that's f***ing Vegas right there " and grab a spatula and scrap that shit out as he was yelling at us about how that's his gambling money. this gave me flash backs 20 years later lol

Splitting then fixing a split mayo is a way to get the best mayo. You can always fix it, so when you see people freak about a split mayo, I always think it’s a good thing.
