I just purchased this flowerhorn a few days ago and just wanted to share how to care for him

Your flowerhorn might tear your loach apart when he gets a little bigger. They can grow really big when powerfeeding.

Don't boil rocks, they can explode. Also, those HOB filters with the cartridge, every time you replace it you just removed all the BB, if you're going to change the cartridge you need to have something in the filter that grows BB that you don't remove or throw away, otherwise you're constantly crashing your tank, test your water with an API test kit, Not trying to be rude. And what's with the machete? LMAO! Nice!

My Flowerhorn recently died. I paid $199 for him 5 years ago. So I sold my tank. I’m just going to buy a 55g and divid the tank some so the baby Flowerhorn won’t get stressed from all the space

Flowerhorn Dude I’m sorry to hear that, I bought mine as a baby and it was only about $15, it’s just kinda hard to keep them alive
