Smart awning, looks really well made and good quality fabric. My full sized Fortex aronde awning uses the same zip concept for its main back and front full arc poles, think it’s quite a common idea for the continental small/bespoke awning manufacturers and looks v tidy so nice to see the best ideas combined in a mass market product by Isabella. Lovely demo by the v well trained (how many times have I shouted at my kids to take their shoes off treading mud all over the groundsheet!) and stripy footed Jules ;-)

A fairly thorough look at what seems to be a decent awning, for those that still get on with those kind of things... 🤷🏼‍♂️ Nice to see you two back in action, although I note we were not treated to a re-bagging... 🤔 🤪

It's a very nice awning, but can you buy a driveaway kit for it, a zip up back and detachable awning rails? Otherwise it rather ties you down to a pitch, like a caravan, really.

Its not driveaway Bob so would only be suitable if you were pitched up a few days at least. Hopefully Isabella might move to a wider range of driveaway awnings in the future. 😊 Karina

How many camping and caravan trips start off with couples falling out, they don't call them divorce in a bag for nothing.we used to have a full size old school Isabella awning then switched last year to a vango air kallari you can almost put it up yourself thus not needing to involve the wife,happy wife happy life great awning smart idea with the front poles Jules great vid👍

😂 Jules has always put the awning up by himself, even the larger Vango ones. There’s no falling out then. My caravan jobs were fill the flush tank, make the bed and sit and watch the rest 😂 I must say I have seen many a fall out as people arrive and pitch up. I think thats the most stressful part of the holiday. Thanks for watching, Karina

Hi guys, I have the vivo high for my Autosleeper Broadway. Your video was very useful. Put ours up for the first time last weekend and made afew mistakes! Hope To get it right next time. Quick question if I may? The blow up tubes that go next to the van - should they go inside or outside the awning? Apologies for the silly question but think it’s one of the things we got wrong! We were setting up on a gravel pitch and so the plastic pegs did not work very well. We now have bought some rock pegs.

Hi Glyn..yes they go inside and should be as flush as possible. We always use rock pegs and a mallet..some times the ground can be quite hard and it can make it difficult. The more you use it the easier it becomes. If you’re using levelling ramps dont forget this can mean the awning might be higher off the ground at one side to the other so dont worry if it doesn’t always sit perfectly on the ground. Did you consider a drive away awning for the flexibility. If you did what was your reasons for deciding on a fixed awning?

Thanks Jacqueline, we have previously used a Vango Hexaway drive away awning, which is very good. We reviewed this one for Isabella as we have previously tried several Vango awnings. Isabella are, I believe, are looking at adding more to the range. 😊 Karina

Is the the air tubes more robust than other manufacturers. Totally put off Air Awnings both expensive other make models I purchased leaked or burst after one season. £1000 a season is not good value. Isabella has always been at the top of end of the awning market maybe try this one next season.

🤔 The quality appears good and the psi on these was higher than I’ve come across before. I must say I’ve never had a bad experience with the Vango awnings. I like the ease of air awnings but have seen bad reports too. I would say if you could get one of these at a good discount it would be a very good buy. Thanks for watching 😊

Why dont they make side roof beams for extra support? The front could be a bit flappy on windy days without a pole up or across the middle.

Not sure, maybe cost although we have not had a problem on air awnings we have had with the sides.. thank you for watching 😊

Good video. How long have you got the Motorhome for? Also who drives the Motorhome?

Thanks Thomas, we have it until the end of October. We are both driving it as Jules can drive this on his licence as it is 3.5t GVM. 😊Karina

Here we Tow Is that if you pass your test after 97?

Yes, if you passed after 01-01-97 you can drive up to 3.5t. Jules passed after that so he wasnt able to tow our caravan. He can drive this motorhome though 😊👍

Thank you..price wise-its a premium awning and similar price to many Vango awnings of the same specification. I do agree though, way out of some peoples budgets. Thanks for watching and safe travels 😊 Karina

Goodness, I got ever so distracted with Jules showing off his white bits at the start!! 🧐... Personally, I prefer a full shoe in the summer as it gives your feet that dipped in bleach look. Perhaps something to think about for next year 🦶🤣

Why oh why dont awnings come with 'proper' strong steel pegs. Especially one as costly as an Isabella. Yes you can buy them afterwards but why should we?

I usually use rock pegs with my awnings too , especially on hard standing. Thanks for watching 👍Jules
