Hi Jai, congrats and thanks for the good works on your channel. Please, I have a question? Am a DIY IT guy and was able to pass my CISA on my first try but I don't have any manager can any IT friend I have worked with help sign my certificate application forms? Thanks and guess what am a new subscriber lol!

hi Jai, thanks a lot for sharing your career journey with us. just wonder will the experience still be considered match if it does not match the titles. for example i am working with security system management for several years and previously i have worked with a security product development but not with the title security (only developer) in my title and also served as a network engineer where i tend to secure the ISP's networks. in general 11 years of experience plus bachelor in Computer systems. however in all this only the security system management says word security in my title.

Hi Jai, just wanted to check for applying a certification application form, I am showing experience of 4 companies. so do I need to require verifier from all 4 companies. Like multiple verifiers or it can be one among 4 thanks

Vineet, I think so but I could be wrong. It's better anyway.

You need to prove the cumulative experience. If the 4 companies each provide a fraction of the total of 5 years, then yes, you need to ask 4 companies to provide proof of your experience.

Which security certificate doesn't require any security work experience?

Security+. However, you might need some IT experience to pass.

Any Offensive Security certificates. Pure skills only.

Who submits the signed verification form and how is it submitted?

You need to submit this to ISACA. When I did, it was a pdf form to fill in, get it signed by the line manager (experience attestation) then I submitted this to ISACA. Hope that helps.
