First of, thank you, thank you JP Nanit for making this happen. I'm so thankful that JP gave me a chance to interview him. Thank you for being so open & for sharing everything you can with our aspiring full time working students. In this video, you'll realize that anything is possible. As JP mentioned, we are invincible when we are in law school. hehe :)

I'm a full time employee, a mother of 3 kids and a law student. God knows how hard it is. I wonder if there are working moms out there who struggled yet successfully hurdled the bar in the end.

Wow!!!! Amazing! There are those who have finished law school, with their own family, while working. I'm sure there are those who passed the bar exams too! I just don't know them personally but once I do, I'll try to interview them :)

I knew one who finished law school in 4yrs but she's working full-time as a gov't employee. She's also a part-time teacher & Acctg dept chair in our school. She also passed the bar on-time. I don't know how she did all of that she's such an inspiration ❤️

True true true! I am also a government employee and a law student (full load for this semester). Patayan ang sched and I am amazed at myself for still trying to pull this off. Maybe because I pour my heart and soul in law school. My work feeds me but my study feeds my dream. Laban lang! :)

Hello, Ms. Isai. I totally agree with Mr. JP, especially in regard with the need of support system. As a law student, who is also a nurse by profession, I truly believe that we should never neglect our health and well-being. Aside from family and friends, I am also in a commitment with my boyfriend, who I met when I am already in my 3rd year of law school (actually, this year lang teh). I think love life is supposed to help you grow and must not be a distraction. Law students, when they feel and encounter genuine love, should not deprive themselves of the same. ;) By the way, because of your vlog, it makes me more proud to be an Arellanite law student. Even in your small ways, you are helping law stude nts and aspirants alike. More power!

This really inspires me...huhu..I'm 23 and a full time employee...plano ko sanang magtake ng law this year and i'm reviewing for philsat na...iniisip ko kung posible bang magtrabaho habang nag-aaral ng law...working student na din kasi ako nung college pro tingin ko kasi mas mahirap ang situation kung sa law na...buti na lng napanood ko 'to...lalo akong nainspire na pursue yung pangarap ko 😊

Hi ate Isai. I was very inspired to this video. Cuz back then when i entered LLB, i wasn't ready. I was full time student and then i failed a lot of subj. Now, when I realize na wla na plang pera na iniwan skin ng mom ko after she died, dun ako namulat na i need to focus. I really admit that i hve wasted a lot of my time. So, im currently entering police and planning to return law school. I want to start to 1st yr. As i've watched ur video I know i am ready and motivated. Thank u po tlga. Hi Isai, I am about to take the bar this Nov. but Im.so nervous. I graduated in law school years back when Rules of Court are way different from what it is today. I was a working student then. I did not make it the last time I took the bar and I chose to focus on work instead to recover losses. Until one day I realized I have enough money to sustain expenses for review and here I am struggling. everything seem new to me I had a hard time memorizing, good thing I found your video and you inspire me to just "push" no matter what READ, READ and READ.... Hopefully you'll be there to answer all my questions. Thank you for the inspiration.

Pag nagbabasa naman ako feeling ok naman pero pag nakikita ko na OMG ang bagal ko ata ayun na iistress na ko. You have to know your why. It really helps a lot to know your motivation. So that when you're down in the dumps, you need to take out your why and remind yourself why it's important for you to do this.

Wow! I really find your videos inspiring and enlightening. I've always wanted to be a lawyer since I was in highschool. I'm a fresh college graduade who took BS Psychology and hoping to find my path at Law School after hopefully passing the 2017 Psychometrician Board Exam. Isai Rivera pa advice naman po... I am not fan of reading and I've heard in one of your videos that when you were still in Nursing School, di ka rin ganun kahilig magbasa.. tips naman po on how to start na maging hobby ang reading since law school requires a lot of reading.. and how do you manage to read all the readings required for you to do.. and last po pag nag enter po ba ng law school ramdam agad yung pressure kahit day 1 pa lng po? how do you manage to cope up from nursing to law school.. I'm also a govt employee here in qc, on a shifting work sched. after passing the recent philsat exam, Ive got a ticket to enrol this 2019-2020 school year, but Im having trouble deciding what schedule is the best for me..#1 school near my office, about 15-20 min walk or 5-10 min commute, mon to fri starts from 530pm to 930m, (1 , 2 or 3 subj ) plus 2 or more subjects every sat. OR #2 sched starts at 8am to 8pm i guess, every sat and sun plus a week day subject/s starts at 530pm, 1.5 to 2hr ride from home. Thank you in advance

Thanks ate isai! Cool. Sa court pala sya nagwowork. I applied for a clerk position sa RTC-Sarangani last yr pero it will depend sa Supreme Court ang final decision kng sino iha-hire and hanggang ngayon wala pa. Or meron na, di lng ako ang napili :( hahaha! I was supposed to apply for a court interpreter but nung nalaman ko na open yung ganung position, last day na ng application sayang. Haha. Tama si kuya jp (char feelingclose) di petiks magwork sa government. Kahit JO pa lang waaaa. #relate

My first time here and I'm hooked. Graduated college 2009 and thought about law school then but nagmadali kasi ako na makatapos mag-aral. But right now I'm starting to reconsider entering law school as a full time employee. and finding your channel might be one of those divine intervention JP mentioned. Still thinking about it, though. For me, my sister convinced me to enter law school rather than med school - it was the more practical choice, financially. :)

I don't think I can handle Law school (and Bar exams, obviously). I breezed through my Engineering degree but Law school is a totally different animal.

most law school classes are from 6-9 on weekdays and whole day on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

It depends on you. There are those who continue their full time work even during bar review. They only took a leave of absence from work when it was November, Bar Exam month. *It totally depends on what would work best for you. Will you be able to efficiently and effectively utilize time if you had more of it?* - This is one of the questions to ask yourself.

Any 4 year course can qualify as pre-law. JD (juris doctor); LLB (Bachelor of Laws) - Difference - JD (w/thesis); LLB (w/o)

There are a lot of full time jobs around. Just like JP, you can work in a court, work for a private company, be an online English tutor, call center agent. The opportunities are endless. :) You just have to know what you want to do.

Ang semester - Ang isang pang-akademikong term (o simpleng salita) ay isang bahagi ng isang taong akademiko, ang panahon kung saan ang isang institusyong pang-edukasyon ay nagtataglay ng mga klase. Pasensya ka na Ginoogle translate ko lang ha. Yung school year kasi sa college at law school, kadalasan divided sa dalawa, yung yung tinatawag na "semester". Kumpara sa gradeschool or highschool, minsan 4 yung hati ng school year, tinatawag na "quarterly".
