Mosquitoes love me too. The best way to get rid of the bite and itching is through heat. If you take a metal spoon and heat it up (I use a mug of hot water), the hottest temp that your skin can take is hot enough to kill the protein that is causing the reaction. The length of time the spoon stays hot is about as long as you need on a bite. If it still itches, repeat the process. I used to get golf ball size welts from Mosquitoes, now they are a pin point by morning and the itching stops immediately. I'll add that this can be done on kids as well. I have been doing this with my child since she was 5 and I have never had any problems.

amazing tip ty for sharing! a random discovery: Nars’ monoi oil helps keep bites at bay too and it smells amazing 😂. i think any monoi oil might work too

I have been hoping you would get this collection! Thank you for a great review. Since getting the Byredo palette earlier this year, I have a new appreciation for the technology of good eyeshadow textures. Up until now, I have been a pretty conservative 2-3 colors on the eye girl. I have gone way out of my comfort zone with ‘layering’ textures and colors, thanks to content creators like yourself and makeup artists like Isamaya, Linda Hallberg, Danessa Myricks, and Mother Pat. Thank you for inspiring a creative side I didn’t think existed. I ordered the palette after watching your video. Can’t wait to play around with it when it comes in and I look forward to more from Isamaya. I hope she makes more Putty texture shadows.

I watched the video, bought the palette and the brow lacq, and started it again at the first look. I am smitten. Why is so much good stuff coming out right now?! I will have to start my no buy early. I love how the shadow looked as highlight. Also how did the brow laqc hold up?

The browlaq was ok in longevity. Granted it was in the 90’s and I trained. I do want to experiment with powdering my brown first before applying it to see if that makes a difference. And know I want to get my brows micro bladed because I think the liner affect the wear of the browlaq.

I want this so so so badly, same as I wanted the other byredo palettes. Isamaya is AMAZING. sadly it’s too much and wouldn’t fit my style this time around, I’m already thinking about her next collection as a must. I just got done watching Isamaya discuss her collection. I saw the collection video before the release and knew that this was absolutely my style! I felt that I talked myself out of this collection listening to traditional influencers discuss this bizarre collection - then hearing the artist discuss her vision brought it back full circle. Isamaya is an ARTIST, not just a makeup brand. Never noticed the huge difference until now. This isn’t made to suit the market: it was made because Isamaya had a vision to bring to life. This isn’t for an average consumer, but the average consumer may love another one of her collections down the road.

This gives me flashbacks to October of 2020. At work, door locked, so my coworkers agreed we could watch some Halloween movies and not be worried about walk-ins showing up at a murder scene or something. We were fine with violence, just not overt sexual content. I suggested American Horror Story, season 1, completely forgetting about S&M man. I still can't think of that memory without laughing. The amount of confusion and scrambling to the remote to turn everything off was the funniest thing ever. I swear the whole building heard us all dying of laughter 🤣

You were the first person I saw review the Byredo large palettes.I love Prismatic palette so I had to get this one. I love it, so many kinds looks , easy smokey eye looks and one and done eye shadow looks. Mosquitos love me too! Hope she does lip products without the tingling plumping stuff. Great review! And love all the looks you did!!

I absolutely love this collection. I own a LOT of makeup and this is the first thing I've come across that i'm actually considering buying a backup of, I really love it that much. I have the more recent Byredo palette as well, but I am absolutely kicking myself for not picking up the first one (the one with the face) when it was available. I liked it but the face freaked me out at the time but now I'm over it and I have a lot of fomo over it.

From an artist's standpoint the palette is fantastic and imaginative... just not into the dominatrix concept...However for a rebellious punk/grunge look, the eye palette would definitely work. Thanks again for the thorough and informative video, Alicia.
