The epitome of a free roaming 10. Surprised not to see his sole roll nutmeg on Verratti in here. This compilation reminded me of how fun it was seeing him play for Spain v Italy in 2017. Zidane gave that freedom as the 10 in a 4-D-2 in 16/17 and it's no surprise that was his best run at the club. One of quite a few players of recent times (him, Dybala at various points at Juve + Coutinho outside of Liverpool) who have struggled to find a home because of their preference to roam the field. It's a shame.

Like I said in the Marcelo video rants seeing this mans decline hurts real bad 😓 Was blessed to witness Isco at his utmost best, he was a fkn beast during that 16/17 season when we did the double, definitely one of the most influential players that season!
