This week, we will continue our Iran trip by visiting Isfahan, the administrative center of Isfahan Province and also the most touristic city in Iran. It was the capital of Turkish states such as the Safavids and the Seljuks, and has been the center of literature, art and philosophy throughout history. In this historical city, nicknamed Nıfs-ı Cihan, meaning half of the world, and whose beauty is said to be worth the world, it was first built by Shah Abbas during the Safavid period, and was built by the Ottoman Sultan Yavuz. We will see the Cehel Sutun Palace, which contains murals depicting the Battle of Chaldiran fought with Sultan Selim. After lunch, where we will taste the local delicacies of Isfahan, we will visit the New Julfa Armenian Quarter in Isfahan, the 3rd largest city of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and try to get information about the lives of the Armenians living here. We will visit the Vank Cathedral, built for Armenians, and see the interesting works in the museum attached to the cathedral. We will watch how the local people have fun by singing folk songs at the historical Khaju Bridge on the Zayende Rud, the largest river in Isfahan, Iran, which is also famous for its bridges, and we will also get information about traditional Iranian food culture during dinner. #irangezisi #isfahan #irantrip #chehelsotoun #vankcathedral #iranian #irani #khajubridge #irantravel #irantour #history #culture #isfahan #beryuni #fesenjan #biryani #iranfood #zayenderud #zagros
