Isha Ambani may have been absent from the #MetGala red-carpet this year but her hand-embroidered couture sari gown from Rahul Mishra which took over 10,000 hours to complete, is doing the rounds. As we imagine what the moment could have been, here’s a behind-the-scenes of its making with stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania.

It doesn't work that day....suppose 100 workers are working 10 hours per day for 10 days, then the total number of "man-hours" comes out as 100×10×10 which is 10,000...!!!!!!

They never paid well dear they get per day hardly 200-300 even sometimes there will be child’s who is around 13-17 yrs old I have saw once in Kutub minar at sabysachi

3-4 years ago model of flowers for a costume which I liked then to make as per trend or new collection then.... ofcourse anytime it will be nice , it's not about the same time we have to wear it as per the trend.. Anytime which we wish to wear makes feel happy😊..

art and talent is appreciated, but lets take time to ponder- what on earth does fancy clothes and expensive clothes do good to us? does it promote health ? does it impart any values in us ? A huge amount of money is spent on fashion industry , when so many people in India , especially the children are malnourished and dying. Indians should collectively work as community to eradicate poverty from India. Showing off dresses on red carpet of hollywood wont change the fact that India has so much poverty. Every Indian must realise this not to spend too much on garments which will be worn one time and next day it would b in cupboard.
