URUSHI is cured(dried) by humidity.
Parts are put in a room with high humidity called "Muro".
桜の木で作った小さな厨子です。仕上げは塗っては拭き取りを繰り返す「拭き漆」仕上げです。ご依頼人様のご要望に沿って、それぞれ少しずつ仕様が異なっています。

im a huge fan and i think I've seen all of your videos, this one stands out as one of my favorites... so peaceful and meticulous. being Buddhist alters, this makes sense.
