the problem with non steeze , absent wavey arms etc result in the skating looking boring because it looks too effortless. it can also be argued that steeze is part of the "art" of skating. Being a sponsored skater for vids not contests, means you are a performer not unlike a dancer. Imagine a rock band that all sat on chairs rigid like an orchestra instead of standing and doing their very best to physically move in a manner to express the feels of the music? Audience would straight up walk out. Guitarists do a sex face when doing solos not because it is hard, but they need to make it look hard or it looks boring.
