In 1832, the Vietnamese Emperor Minh Mang annexed the last Champa Kingdom. This resulted in the Cham Muslim leader Katip Sumat, who was educated in Kelantan, declaring a Jihad against the Vietnamese.[56][57][58][59] The Vietnamese coercively fed lizard and pig meat to Cham Muslims and cow meat to Cham Hindus against their will to punish them and assimilate them to Vietnamese culture.[60] The second revolt led by Ja Thak Wa, a Bani cleric, resulting in the establishment of a Cham resistance which lasted from 1834 to 1835 until it was bloody crushed by Minh Mang's forces in July 1835. Only 40,000 Cham remained in the old Panduranga territory in 1885.[61]

However, any attempt to turn Vietnam into a theocratic state will face the bloody resistance of the Vietnamese people. The superiority of any religion over other religions will affect our security, peace and stability. That must never be allowed to happen. VN: Chúng tôi tôn trọng tất cả các tôn giáo, khuyến khích tự do tôn giáo, bình đẳng, yêu thương và hòa hợp giữa các tôn giáo, giữa những người theo tôn giáo và không theo tôn giáo. Dear Vietnamies, know about Allah. No one is to be worshiped except Allah. He is Almighty. Allah is far from time and Place. Has no physical structure and physical needs. Like Him is none. Life is short. Aakherat (Journey to Allah ) is very long. Come to Allah. Islam is a natural religion that leads to a straight path of success. Mohammad (SAW) is His last prophet & Massenger .His life is perfact &Ideal for all menkind of the universe. Make Haste! We will be asked for our every good and evil in the day of ressurection.
