القرآن - سورۃ نمبر 7 الأعراف آیت نمبر 172- أَعـوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْـطانِ الرَّجيـم بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ وَ اِذۡ اَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنۡۢ بَنِىۡۤ اٰدَمَ مِنۡ ظُهُوۡرِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَ اَشۡهَدَهُمۡ عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ ۚ اَلَسۡتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا بَلٰى ۛۚ شَهِدۡنَا ۛۚ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ اِنَّا كُنَّا عَنۡ هٰذَا غٰفِلِيۡنَ ۞ ترجمہ: اور (اے رسول ! لوگوں کو وہ وقت یاد دلاؤ) جب تمہارے پروردگار نے آدم کے بیٹوں کی پشت سے ان کی ساری اولاد کو نکالا تھا، اور ان کو خود اپنے اوپر گواہ بنایا تھا، (اور پوچھا تھا کہ) کیا میں تمہارا رب نہیں ہوں ؟ سب نے جواب دیا تھا کہ : کیوں نہیں ؟ ہم سب اس بات کی گواہی دیتے ہیں۔ (اور یہ اقرار ہم نے اس لیے لیا تھا) تاکہ تم قیامت کے دن یہ نہ کہہ سکو کہ : ہم تو اس بات سے بیخبر تھے۔ ۞

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَوۡفُوۡا بِالۡعُقُوۡدِ ؕ ترجمہ: اے ایمان والو ! معاہدوں کو پورا کرو۔ (المائدہ1) عقائد، عقیدہ ،عقیدت، عقد سے ہے اور عقد کے معنی گرہ لگانے کے ہیں،پکا قول و قرار کرنے کے ہیں عقد اولی :حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کی ساری اولاد نے عالم الروح میں کیا جسے عہد الست یا وعدہ الست کہا جاتا ہے الست بربکم قالو بلی شھدنا (اعراف172) عقد ثانی : ہر دور میں جو نبی مبعوث کئے جاتے ہیں ان سے تجدید عہد کرنا ہوتا ہے مثال جیسے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سمعنا واطعنا کہا تھا
