Puget Sound Fishing doesn't get a whole lot better than this. As with most fishing videos of mine, enjoy some amazing underwater fishing footage, including shark fishing, rockfish & flounder! After successfully loading the boat with crabs and fish, we head to a nearby island, to complete the catch clean cook right on the beach!

Everything about this channel... Your personality, skill, non-animal-cruelty (thank goodness for that!), and some great underwater video, is just amazing. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to make around 30 minute long videos that you spend hours upon hours on, setting it all up, recording, waiting for the fish, and editing. I didn't get my NWFS fix last week, I was starting to worry about you. Has it really been Two years since you've been on the boat? Time flies seems like yesterday. I think you were fishing for Lings? Glad to see this channel blowing up, you deserve it. We did a charter on the Slammer out of Westport last week for my Birthday. Caught flounder for bait for the lings. 40 lings and 140 rockfish later we walked off with 15# of fillets that was worth more than the trip lol. I think on my New Orleans Oyster POboy video I show how to make homemade Remoulade sauce from Louisiana. You really need to try that on your next fish tacos. We use it for everything and it's a staple condiment for our Seafood. Super simple to make.

haha yeah it sucked I couldn't get a video in last week! And I've had that boat for about 4 years, she's just been sitting out of the water for 2. Been using other boats since, but needed to revive my old baby ❤️ And that sounds like one heck of a trip! Can't beat those Westport charters.... NW Fishing Secrets not to be mean but summer flounder legal size is 18 inches yours was about 8?

@@ren_12_ten41 In Washington there is no minimum size and the flounder. I believe the only restriction is that you can only keep 4 or 5 flounder. They just advise you to use common since on the size of your catch.

Man this video brought back some good memories. When I was a kid our dad used to take us out in the Puget Sound to fish and crab all the time. The Sraits of Juan De Fuca, Eagles Island, Gig Harbour, etc. That actually looked like Eagles Island that you stopped at. We caught tons of Salmon, Halibut, Cod, Dungeness crabs, Dogfish(which is what you are calling sharks). You should gut everyone of those things before you throw them back. We moved away the year before Mt St Helens erupted. Ruined a bunch of the good fishing rivers and lakes up there.

It was amazing! Where we were at on the Columbia was tough yesterday, but i still brought back some of the most yummy looking salmon meat I've ever seen!
