Was awesome seeing her excitement in the snow. Reminded me of a friend I had in college who experienced it for his first time with myself and some other friends. Don't stop in the Midwest. Bring her out to Sw Virginia, East TN and Eastern KY. You get all 4 seasons, the scenery is beautiful and housing is still very affordable compared to other places in the country.

You should come to Coeur d’Alene in the north part of Idaho sometime. People here enjoy the snow in winter and swim in scenic Lake Coeur d’Alene in summer. I’m originally from CA myself, and I’ve been married to a Filipina for 12 years. It took her a while to get used to Coeur d’Alene, but now she likes it!

After a year, we moved to Sunshine Florida, and the best decision we made as a start of my “American dream “! We loved it and now getting ready to move back to the Philippines for retirement.
