Strick, Im not taking anything away from you or your amazing skills and expertise, but I just have to say that Frans recent involvement, has lifted you guys to the next world class level. I love to see her now being so comfortable, sharing her own unique style! And its like she was so shy before, and didnt realize how much her personality and style of talking, could contribute. But now that she is really feeling the unique chemistry that her personality and style is making things much better, she is really feeling comfortable. I always loved your channel, but now I find myself really looking forward to each episode. Strick and Fran, you guys are so freakin cool!

Spearfishing she always makes a circle by throwing the spear-if she tries to use the left hand as pointer and let the spear slide through her left fingers the fly of the spear is nearly straight!So she would be do better progress!

8:40 u made a small confusion here, theres 2 types of mantis shrimp -the white like this which cant punch, they use claws to grab preys -and the peacock mantis shrimp ( green and red ) : which have their amazing punch feature great video

Sorry to see the plight of those giant turtles; hope they both fare well (hopefully good news next Sunday). Loved the segment with the octopus. Many marine biologists cite their high intelligence, their ability to navigate complicated mazes and figure out how to unlock locking devices - as well as squeeze through tiny holes and spaces. It was interesting to see this octopus, after a short moment of trepidation where it squirted water at you) hung around, not seeing either of you as a threat and being a bit friendly by touching your hands. Suspect Fran know a lot about this - perhaps other species of octopus behave differently.

Well done. I too love octopus. They’re only relatively short lived, but extremely intelligent. I used to eat them, loved them pickled…But in a dive spot near my old place in Roaring Beach, Tasmania, there was a big friendly octopus, that was always happy to say hello and have a gentle touch with his tentacles. Then, I watched a movie called “ My Octopus Teacher”… I’m over 183cm… bush built…but was a bit of a tear mess in this movie… 😅😅😅 Have never or will ever harm another octopus again!
