I love how expressive he is, especially turns the end. I love how expressive they all are in all of their music. Its so different from the forced emotions that I see from musicians in America where they seem to either restrain their emotions or force them to be more than they really are. Its an extremely different experience for me to watch even only through KZfaq.

Beautiful song. I've always admired the courage that it must have took for any immigrant - in any time - to leave EVERYTHING behind for the chance that the new world would be better than the old.

I think of my Grandpa coming to the States from Dublin Ireland as a very young man. I have 2 other grandparents who traveled from Germany while very young too. I have 3 grandparents who have come here from "The Old Country" as was termed while I was growing up. Makes me happy they came, but sad to know now what it must have been like to leave family, friends, and their homes to come. Never to return again. Very sad for immigrants to leave "Home" in the days of old.

Emmet did a fantastic turn in Celtic Thunder's "My Land" -- I consider that he was given the "lead" in that sextet because he was the one who sang the recurring refrain "For you are my land and you always will be, the voice ever calling me home to you." He is exceptional for sure.

Emmet's rendition of Isle of Hope - Isle of Tears - along with complimentary music arrangement - has yet to be the best I've heard. The combination of the expression of the emotion of a young girl leaving the land she so deeply loved against a better future in a land alien to her, beautifully displayed by the melodic voice, even in every controlled vibrato, brings out deep emotions of the hearer. Very moving and powerful. Thank you, Emmet and orchestra.

This will always stir my heart like none other song besides "The Isle of Innisfree". I even had a class write about this song from Annie Moore's point of view coming to America in 1892. The stories touched me so deeply. I sent them to Emmet. Emmet is a master at story telling with class.

This is an amazing song and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Celtic Thunder, but I have to say, Celtic Woman's version is much better, considering they actually sang THE FIRST VERSE. It has the history of Ellis Island it. True story. It goes like this: "On the first day of January, 1892, they opened Ellis Island and they let the people through. And the first to cross the threshold of that Isle of Hope and Tears, was Annie Moore from Ireland who was all of fifteen years." Then they sing the chorus, and proceed to the SECOND verse, which is the first verse that Emmet sings.
